Unfortunately the pool is part of the spa which is an expensive add- on. Breakfast was delicious. Jetted tub looks better than it feels due to being very loud and hard to get into.

We loved the frescoes which were amazing and the hotel is beautifully presented and immaculately clean. However, the temperature in the room was way too hot leaving us short of air. No ventilation, air con switched off, no fans - very uncomfortable.

This hotel is beautiful and we would highly recommend. It’s in a beautiful, converted monastery. Location is perfect and rooms are gorgeous with a luxury bathroom. We loved the breakfast options. The only downside was that the skylight window would not close automatically via the controls late at night and it was noisy outside and rained in the early hours. Otherwise, this hotel was really wonderful.

Nice hotel in a lovely and quiet part of town. Staff were very friendly. We did not eat in the restaurant, but had lovely cheese and meat in the bar after a late arrival. Breakfast was a little busy at times, but absolutely fine overall. Bergamo is a charming city with lots to see and Milan is close enough for a day trip by train.

We did not like poor breakfast buffet.We did not like our room on the high floor with opening window in the roof.We did not like great delay at the breakfast when we checked out.The hot food we could eat because the staff began their work very late.It is very bad for 4 star hotel.

So many minor things didn't work. We arrived, our small room was boiling warm, clicked the Aircon, didn't work, so opened the velux (no actual window on the 3rd floor) and the velux promptly broke open. After declining the offer to call maintenance every time we wanted the velux open or closed we were moved to a tiny room. There wasn't even a space for a luggage stand. In this room the Aircon again seemed not to function, the toilet roll holder fell apart and the door handle kept sticking open so the room door didn't lock when we left! Both mornings the coffee machine at breakfast broke down twice. A very nice hotel sadly let down by rooms too small for the cost and too many detail issues. The staff were all very nice though.
