It really is as inviting as it looks! 5 bedroom, 3 bath home is just a delight! Picture perfect cozy home includes central air conditioning, internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 4 televisions, 3 VCRS, 2 DVDS players, stereo, screened porch, 9 rocking chairs, well stocked kitchen, gas grill, wood burning fireplace, bright sunny naturally lit spaces, front and rear decks. Relax! Relax! Relax! Walks/bike rides along the canals, kids playing in the neighborhood, a back yard that is ideal for horse shoes -- just a perfect back drop for reconnecting with family and friends. And comfy enough to do so! Our favorite spot is on the front deck after a grueling day at the beach chillin' with our guests while we rock away, watching the sun set, quenching our thirst and satiating a beach driven hunger....

NEW FOR 2025: The state of Delaware now collects a 4.5% sales tax IN ADDITION to the South Bethany sales tax of 8%. It is out of the control of hosts. Happy to advise where to reach out if you have concerns about the increased taxation.

Crowded holiday week but a great location to get to South Bethany beach w parking pass. We had a nice family vacation. Very responsive landlord to a few minor questions. Most ideal for 2 couples with multiple kids beds (up to 6) We made it work for us w 3 couples and a 2 yr old. Bringing an inflatable pool would be advised.

Great house, great location

My wife and I came for a four day break at the shore. The house is lovely and well-equipped. We spent most of the beautiful fall days sitting on the beach, but enjoyed eating lunch in the screened in area of the deck. There were just the two of us and our dog, but the house has a ton of room and several sitting areas over three floors, so it would be great for a group. It's an easy walk to the beach and the place provides a bunch of beach chairs, buggy boards, and other equipment so there is no need to bring them from home or rent them. The host provides clear instructions on operating the thermostats, entry lock, and tv -- much better than many places we have rented -- and responded promptly to oir questions. We very much enjoyed our brief visit and hope to come back with our family for a longer summer stay.

Amazing Stay and home!

The house was perfect for 2 families, enough space with separate living in basement with 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Plenty of room for all. Spent allot of time on the front porch relaxing with six large rocking chairs. The house was clean and stocked with all kitchen items. The walk to beach is 10 minutes and walk around neighborhood was beautiful with a park very close to walk dogs. Every morning there were lots of people running, biking and walking dogs and the neighbors were very nice. Great location! Wendy was a pleasure to work with and always responsive. The flowers around the house were in full bloom and beautiful. We can not wait to come back and highly recommend this property.

Quiet neighborhood, great location

The host was very responsive, reasonable and easy to communicate. The property was as described. When we arrived, the basement carpet was little wet due to carpet cleaning done the day before. Otherwise everything was great.

Great property!

Fantastic location. Quiet street, perfect for walking along canals and easy walk to the beach. Great for multi-generational families or friends with kids. Bright and sunny, with lots of places to separate and have downtime. The kitchen is fully stocked. Nice big table for meals (we used it for puzzles). Pet-friendly, Big back deck looking down onto grassy area/yard for pets or kids to play. The Sunroom is excellent for morning coffee and reading or a nice glass of wine in the evening. The front porch had rocking chairs - relaxing. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect for family vacation

Great location! Easy walk to the beach & easy parking for those grandparents that maybe can’t make the walk. Fully equipped has everything you need. We are particular about our beach stuff so we took our own. Lots of space for everyone

Pretty area

We had a lovely stay in South Bethany. This house is great for a family or group of friends. Stairs are very steep, so not good for elderly or young children. Pros: 5bdrm 3 bathrooms. beach is only a few blocks away. Nice outside decks Comfortable beds. Host helped guide us for sheets and towel rentals. Hosts were very helpful. Cons: Dishwasher didn't really clean dishes very well. Some dishes in the cupboards weren't clean. Dryer was packed with lint. Front of fridge dirty. Much of the beach equipment is in bad shape. BBQ leaked gas and didn't heat well. A lot of grease in the BBQ runoff pan.

We were very happy with many things about this property. It was such an easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was so very nice to walk around and take in the scenery. The home was spacious and exactly as the photos portrayed. It was a short drive to the boardwalk and some great walking trails. Our host was very friendly and readily available to us. We would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Getaway

Our stay in Wendy's home was fantastic! She was such an amazing host!!! The house was clean, spacious and in a perfect location! The walk to the beach was not long at all and so we walked on it almost every morning and every night! We highly recommend this rental and would 10/10 stay here again:)

Wonderful Bethany vacation house

We thoroughly enjoyed our 12-day stay at this beautiful house. The house was spacious, extremely comfortable and located in a quiet neighborhood that was a convenient walk to a very nice part of the beach. Wendy was so helpful with any question we had including checking the wifi speed (which was fast) and giving us restaurant recommendations - she even took the time to check Yelp to see if there were any new restaurants with good reviews. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Wonderful Stay at Bethany Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home! It's very conveniently located with a short walk to the beach. The home is well stocked with beach gear such as boards, beach cart, sand toys and more. It is also just over 1 mile to the boardwalk which was lovely. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Excellent House and Stay

This was an excellent house for our late summer extended weekend get away. Location was just a short walk to the beach in a nice neighborhood. The house had everything we needed to include beach chairs, umbrelllas, boogey boards, etc. We would definitely return if our plans take us to South Bethany in the future!

Excellent Pet-Friendly Beach House

We couldn't have asked for a better location or more kind and responsive host. Wendy was amazing from the time we signed up until check out. The house is short walk to the beach, located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It is also a short drive or bike ride to Sea Colony where we enjoyed playing tennis every day and made some great new friends! This was our first vacation in a pet-friendly house, and we were pleasantly surprised at how well-kept and clean the house was, even though it had been rented out to others with pets. The floor plan was perfect for our family. The three levels allowed the little ones and the teens ample space for privacy. We can't wait to come back next year!
