A contemporary apartment in the heart of Biarritz in a traditional Basque house. Located in a very quiet street, the apartment is next to the public garden, two minutes walk from the market of Biarritz, four minutes from the casino and the main beach.

Description:

The apartment has two levels. On the first floor a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer) overlooking the living room, very bright.
In the living room is a sofa bed (2 places), and a folding table for up to six people and a TV (flat screen and wifi). On the same level is a bedroom with a bed of 160, opening onto a small private garden (with table and chair for 4/6 people) and a bright, clean bathroom, with bath / shower, sink, heated towel rail and closet. The toilets are separated from the bathroom.
A staircase from the living room to the basement which includes its own private entrance, a small living room overlooking the bedroom with a bed of 160. The basement, bright, has a second bathroom, recently renovated with shower, sink and heated towel rail.

The apartment is located 4 minutes walk from the Grande Plage and Casino Biarritz and 2 minutes from the market halls and shopping streets. While being very central, the apartment is located in a quiet street in the center of the market hall where you can find all your fresh produce and many restaurants and bars.

Rental:

From mid-June to mid-September and during the holidays rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. For the rest of the year, the apartment can be rented for the weekend or 2 nights minimum during the week or by the month.

Sheets and towels are included.

Animals are strictly not allowed.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the apartment.

Arrivals are between 16 and 18h. Departures at 10am. Depending on the availability of the apartment, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Location! Location! Location! Fantastic Location in central Biarritz

Lovely apartment centrally located in beautiful Biarritz. Secured pay parking close by. Grocery store & market directly behind unit. Easy walking distance to shopping and the beach. Numerous restaurants and outdoor sitting areas for a tasty meal or quiet drink. Apartment was clean, nicely decorated and very convenient. We rented a car and visited various villages throughout the Basque countryside. Loved walking along the beach or just sitting to "people Watch". Great spot for a relaxing vacation and unique cultural experience. Loved it!

Location is excellent. 10 mins max from beaches, the market, dozens of restaurants, & a nice park.

Pros: spacious, light and airy, if a little bit basic, living area; as a whole clean (and easy to keep clean); wi-fi and "free" electricity with never ending hot water. Well equipped kitchen area. Bedrooms are adequately comfortable. Very helpful agent who will cope with any snags immediately. The location is the apartment's strongest feature. Anywhere in Biarritz, from the lighthouse in the north to the bottom of the lower beach is walkable in less than half an hour. Nobody should need a car (and I am not sure where one could be parked). Tips: If you need a larger supermarket than the pandemonium of the Carrefour Express by Les Halles there is a much larger one near the Musee Asiatica within 15 minutes walk. There are various regular bus services that can get you to Bayonne or some Pyrennean villages for next to nothing. There is the ALSA bus to San Sebastien (get the app). And tour companies that can get you to La Rhune or Bilbao and back in a day. You don't need to bring cumbersome beach gear: everything can be hired. Cons: nothing can be done to change it, but the small courtyard, although as described, only catches the early morning sun. Evening use will depend on how hot the day has been. Biarritz does have mozzies (where does not?)

A perfect haven in the middle of Biarritz

We had a lovely weekend in the apartment. It is centrally situated, but very peaceful, inside and in the garden. Everything we could need was in there, and it is very close to the market for breakfast and lunch. I would recommend this apartment for groups or families wanting a place of sanctuary in the busyness and glamour of Biarritz.

Great apartment in great Location

The wonderful apartment ist very spacious, and very quiet - at the same time the location of the apartment is magnific, it ist just round the halles du marche. A little paradise in the real heart of Biarritz, just a 5 to 10 Minute-Walk to every (!) beach as Grand Plage, Petit Plage or Cote Basque. It is very well equipped with all You need for beach, sun-umbrella, Bodysurfboard and also all the liquids for washing machine, dishing machine, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. In the Fridge you will find some cold Water for arrival - very great! Also great communication with Loria, our flight was cancelled, we thought, we would arrive around midnight - even this Loria would have made possible. We will come again!

Bel appartement bien situé

Le séjour s'est bien passé malgré une entrée dans les lieux un peu chaotique: - la personne qui gère l'entrée des lieux nous demande un peu brusquement pourquoi l'horaire n'a pas été confirmé alors qu'on m'avait écrit qu'on nous attendait sans confirmation. - équipement pas conforme: la barrière de sécurité de l'escalier est cassée, le lit bébé n'est pas monté et traine dans un coin, la chaise haute enfant n'est pas là et n'arrivera que le lendemain, il n'y a qu'un jeu de clé, la cafetière est cassée et sera remplacée au bout de 36h par une autre machine défectueuse, la porte qui sépare la chambre du bas est cassée, l'ensemble est propre mais les poussières ne sont pas faites... en fait il semble que l'agent en charge de l'appartement se soit laissée un peu débordée par notre arrivée et nous avions l'impression que le logement n'était pas prêt. A part ça, la propriété est agréable et nous avons pu profiter du centre de Biarritz. Malgré les deux ou trois petits couacs; je recommande.

Sehr schönes, gut ausgestattetes Appartment Sehr gute Lage Starker Geruch nach Feuchtigkeit, sehr unangenehm, nur mit geöffneten Fenstern auszuhalten Nicht ordentlich geputzt In den Schranken sah es aus wie nach einem Bombenangriff Katastrophale Parkplatzsituation (August), da leider kein Parkplatz zum Appartment gehört

We spent four weeks in this quiet, secure apartment. Here are the three things that we appreciated most: 1. Location. The beach, the central market, the center of town, and lots of excellent restaurants and cafes are only a few minutes walk from the apartment. 2. Strong and reliable wifi. 3. Well-stocked kitchen. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The listing description was totally accurate. There's lots of room, including two bathrooms. There was also a nice, small sitting area outside. We received excellent service from the owner. We would recommend this apartment.
