Towering Pine Cabin: Your Family’s Perfect Getaway

It’s never too early to plan your next lake vacation at Gathering Place Resort & Lodge. We have six cozy cabins of all sizes, large and small, for your group to stay in while exploring the amenities of our resort on Red Cedar Lake or the wonders of the surrounding north woods of Wisconsin. Our mission at Gathering Place Resort & Lodge is to create an environment in the tranquility of the Northern Wisconsin outdoors where families and friends can gather and build memories.
Towering Pine is our largest cabin and perfect for big families. It has 2400 square feet of space with four spacious bedrooms on the upper level; two rooms have king beds and two rooms have twin-over-queen bunk beds PLUS an additional twin. Each room has its own private bath. A full kitchen, dining room that seats ten, living room with gas fireplace, laundry room and large wrap-around deck make up the main level.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

The cabin is in a beautiful setting, manicured grounds, and the house itself was very clean with a lot of room for all of the family to eat and play games.

Great place for all ages

Very nice property we had kids ranging from 18 months to 16 years and there was something for them all to do. Playground was awesome with lots of additional games. Beach area was nice but a little rocky but the kids had a blast swimming and jumping off the dock. Fishing was good and everyone caught at least one fish. Cabin was clean and well stocked with plenty of room for us all.

Memorial Weekend Getaway

Mike and Deanna were awesome hosts! They checked in on us when we were running a little late to the cabin to make sure that we were okay. They made sure we had plenty of firewood to use throughout the weekend and helped get the pontoon ready for us to use. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again. Cabin was nice and clean and very spacious for our family.
