Cabin in the Woods

Our family stayed at this cabin for a week. It was secluded but pretty close to everything. The cabin had everything we needed and the fall colors were beautiful. The party barn was fun for everyone, but the kids especially loved playing Monopoly. We enjoyed visiting the state park and Marengo Caves! We will definitely come back and stay here next time we come down to southern Indiana.

Charming Cabin

Enjoyed our peaceful stay in a beautiful private setting. The property and amenities are unbelievable!! Enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone looking for a charming peaceful cabin.

Unreasonable management

We get together every year for the kids to have a camping trip and to make great memories. We enjoyed the stay but was told a park pass was missing that none of us was aware of and we have our receipts of paying to get into the park. So thinking maybe one of the kids may of took it to play with I offered to reimburse but the owners charged me double the cost out of thr security deposit. . When no one said they even saw this and i did not see it in the listing.

Secluded and Cozy

It is the perfect getaway and very convenient to Patoka. The kids enjoyed the spacious barn and the main cabin is perfect for the adults. The screened in back deck is the perfect place for a card game.

Graduation Getaway

We had a blast in both the cabin and on Patoka lake! We rented the space for a high school graduation getaway/ Father’s Day/ Retirement trip for our senior dogs lol! They are too old now to be adventuring so this was their last big shabangs! We rented a Tritoon from Gilligan’s Boat Rental which was only about 10min away from the cabin. The Party Barn is HUGE and was the hangout spot while we are at the cabin. We played cornhole, poker and roasted hotdogs on the fire pit. The cabin is tucked away in the woods but super easy to get to. I wish I would have brought birdseed and corn since the property has a ton of bird/squirrel feeders all over. The hot tub was nice and clean as was the rest of the cabin. A few cobwebs here and there but it’s a cabin, what do expect! Perfect spot for those who bring dogs since everything is fenced in. Definitely plan to come visit again in the future. Patoka Lake was Amazing!!
