Nice Room but don't eat in the restaurant.

The room was really nice and clean with a very comfy bed, unfortunately I ate in the restaurant for convenience and the food was very poor, the salt and pepper squid to start was bland and slightly over cooked. The chicken tikka pizza I had for mains sounded exciting on the menu except there was a distinct lack of chicken tikka, it was very claggy and undercooked in parts. I only ate around 1/4 and when I informed the waiter if the issue, I received no feedback, apology or any means of recompence. I certainly wont be eating there again on my next visit.

Great hotel, clean close to train station and downtown Birmingham, room had god space and proper bathroom. Bar service and pizzas were a highlight.

Clean and Modern, Excellent Staff

My family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is exceptionally clean and modern, with stylish decor and well-kept facilities. The staff were excellent; friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Food ordered at the bar was just okay, but the restaurant offered a noticeably better dining experience. Excellent free food choice for kids. Parking is available across the road.

Smelt like sewage and Leicester didn’t get me in

The hotel receptionist not sure of his name (looks like Leicester from GTA V) wasn’t letting my car through the barrier after verifying loads of information about who I am and telling him I have a blue badge and have used the car park on my 3 previous stays at aloft. Would never use it again because he made it very difficult and cut the phone off the telecom 3 times. Also, the room they have smelt like the sewers because of something in the bathroom, it was like a stink bomb. Absolutely atrocious from a hotel like that.

Happy and comfortable stay. Great air con (30 degree day so appreciated this a lot!!) friendly check in and our dog was brought a bed and bowl which is a lovely touch. 15-20min walk to city centre.
