Great home for a family

We stayed at the Cahaba River home with our teenagers and had a great time. Great house in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping. House was well appointed with everything we needed. Plus, a fantastic view of the mountains! We would definitely recommend this property.

The pictures did not lie. This was a beautiful home on the Cahaba river with a beautiful view of the Appalachian mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and would stay there again if available.

Paradise on the River

This place far exceeded my expectations. Clean, efficient, welcoming and comfortable. Nothing can beat the view this home has. The welcome party (aka deer) were a nice bonus! Will definitely look for this place on my next visit back.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The kitchen is wonderful. The view is amazing. The towels were top notch. The floor plan was where you could be alone reading a book or where everyone can be together. High end appliances and very clean. We can’t wait to go back and stay longer.

Amazing view! Great location!

The house is in a great location. The deck is huge and has amazing views down to the river. We saw deer at dusk both evenings we were here. Kitchen was well equipped and home has been recently renovated.

Walton was wonderful to work with and so accommodating We stay in the area a lot due to our daughter playing softball at UAB and this property is definitely our favorite!!

What an amazing property. The location was perfect. Easy to get around the area and near everything. The house was beautiful and the dexor was incredible. Quiet house with an amazing view off the back deck. I definitely recommend this home and will book again.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful and comfortable home in a really great location, with close access to so many shopping areas, restaurants, grocery stores and even fishing opportunities. Great gas prices within 5 miles of this home.Owner was very pleasant to communicate with upon our arrival. We had no issues while we were there so I really can't say anything regarding his attentiveness to issues. Although I do think that not having any issues speaks volumes in regards to his care of the home. He is doing some remodeling in some areas and because the home was so beautiful as it was we hope that sometime after the remodel is complete, we will be able to come back and visit and just see how much more beautiful the home is. The best part of the whole experience was standing out on the back deck looking down on the Cahaba River and over the trees to the mountains in the area but far better than that was enjoying the deer that was walking through the backyard close to the river.

Weekend getaway

Great house for a quick getaway. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to the area. The views off the back of the house are beautiful! Host is very helpful with any questions we had. Will definitely rent again when visiting Birmingham.
