Had leftovers from dinner. Fridge is too small for a take out plate, especially 2 plates. also control for it was missing knob and it was left partially open, so not cold when I got to room.

Amazing staff

I made a reservation for a friend of mine whose son was having surgery at UAB. She went on effusively about how kind the staff was, how helpful they were, and she stated multiple times that the shuttle was a godsend. She said the beds were comfortable but the people working at the hotel made all the difference. Thank you for helping my friend and being so friendly. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Reginald at the front desk treated me like family. He was very kind and patient. He needs to be regional manager or get a huge pay raise. The staff checked in on me during me stay which was nice too.

I was switched out of my rooms three times. The first room that I was assigned was not swept, the coffee machine was not shown any attention. The coffee, sugar and creamers were just thrown on the counter top. The sun was shining into the room which caused the floor to be seen in a better light, it looked as if there were 10 dogs in the room, the night before. Dog hair was everywhere, food was seen lying on the floor behind the bed. I then was switched to my second room without issue, after raising these concerns to the front desk. The second room was fine for two nights but on Saturday the air conditioning unit stopped working. I tried to stay in the room due to me checking out on Sunday morning but the wall unit stated that the temperature was 77 degrees. I was then switched to my third and final room for the night. As soon as I walked into the room, I looked in the bathroom and there was a wet washcloth, with hair sitting in the shower on the soap rack. I did bring that to managements attention and was told it would be noted. No one came to retrieve the washcloth or even come to see what was left. Great area but I will not be staying at this Hilton ever again!

Poor internet, extremely limited channels on television, and remotes that hardly worked for the televisions. No trash bags, which they say they don’t use. For the price point they should have a continental breakfast, but they don’t. Dog barking in room next to us. Repeated drag racers down the streets through the wee hours of early morning. 4:00 in the morning some car drove down the streets with speaker blasting so loudly we could hear it perfectly from the 14th floor. It may as well have been in the room with us.

Broken Doors/Dirty/No Microwave

When we arrived we were told our room was switched from 910 to 918. We noticed that there was no microwave in our room so our plans to eat cheap during the trip were discarded and we had to take trips for fast food for every meal. The door was broken so we struggled to enter our room every single time. The shower was very questionable to look at and had dirt and grime all over the floor. In addition, there were suprise fees for parking ($15 a day plus tax) and an incidental fee which amounted to $80 in total for us snuck in the day of checkin. It is awful that we werent warned ahead of time or charged ahead of tine when we paid for our stay.
