Not vwry impressed. Personally I didnt like all the dogs in reception when checking in, my fault as I didn't realise the hotel was.pet friendly. Check in wasn't great receptionist just looked at me without speaking so I told him I was here to check in he still just looked at me then said NAME just felt rather rude. Bed was hard room wasnt the best hair on the covers.

Room 206 has the most comfortable four poster bed, i slept like a log every night. We usually just stay Room only, but occasionally we chose breakfast and dinner and neither options disappointed. There was entertainment each night. I have to give a big shout out to both Martin and Nathan who have always tried to get me a second floor room with a Seaview. 1,because I have walking difficulties and if the lift wasn't working for any reason then i could just about manage to get to my room, and 2, i suffer from depression and anxiety and being able to watch the sea calms me down. That being said, people will complain about the small things sometimes and i say to them that the staff do their best,always read the reviews on hotels and if you expect luxury then book the boulevard or similar hotel. And before you have a go at me about the president hotel, let me say that everyone is entitled to their own views and half the time problems are of the guests own makings. The hotel is truly pet friendly, allowing your pets everywhere with you, they even have a separate dining area for them unlike certain other hotels which i won't name.

Hotel is like a maze, no directions not information about the bar / breakfast or anything. Went to the bar Saturday around 3pm to no one being there and closed. The noise in the hotel was awful from a group of people having a party, and not getting a wink of sleep. No soap at the sink to wash your hands. The pictures online are nothing like the hotel at all. Very disappointed in this and will not be coming back to stay.

No major issues apart from the check in as when we arrived around 6pm there was no one around, we rang the reception bell rang the phone and still nothing for around 20 mins. Luckily some other residents came in and I asked if anyone is usually manning the desk and they said yes and they would try and find them and let us know we were there so eventually someone did come down for us to check in but at one point we were considering putting our bags in the car and going into Blackpool and then checking in later but got sorted eventually.

Seems slightly unfair to rate the hotel as only used it for sleep the two nights I was there (didn't have breakfast/dinner). The staff were good from the interactions we did have. The hotel itself looks a bit tired although you can see improvements being done. I can imagine in it's heyday this was chock a block. Tram stop right outside the hotel made transport easy. Was value for the price we paid.

On arrival I was disappointed, there were glasses and bottles on the seating outside and around the entrance doors. We had to wait to check in as there appeared to be only one member of staff on working between the bar and reception. On receiving our key we went up to our room, the room was basic which was fine, we just needed a base for the night. The bathroom floor was cracked in areas and was lifting up and there was no handle for the shower and was generally dirty around the sink taps and shower. We spoke to reception about this and said they had been let down with a part and it would be like that until they got the piece. The bar area was generally ok, however due to lack of staff there was a lot of glasses and bottles lying around. Overall: cleanliness and general upkeep of the hotel was poor.

Extremely disappointed and upset .

I am disappointed with Hotel.com to even recommend this hotel. Room on the 4th floor, dirty, smell of urine, stains on the carpet. Walls scratched and dirty. Bathroom looked like it was glued together. Big yellow stains in the bath. Handset never showed despite two requests. Alarmingly under staffed and disinterested. This was our Wedding Anniversary romantic weekend we left a day earlier. Upset and very disappointed.

This was, without a doubt, the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The check-in process was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, I was told my booking was for the next day, which was simply not true. I had to argue and insist for over an hour before the staff finally double-checked—only to realize they had been looking under the wrong name the entire time. This level of carelessness is simply unacceptable. When I was finally given a room, things went from bad to worse. The shower was clearly uncleaned, the bed sheets were stained and full of dog hair, and the entire room reeked of pet odor. It was evident that no effort had been made to properly clean or prepare the space for guests. This experience was not only disappointing but also deeply frustrating. I will never be using their services again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

False advertisements big stain on quilt carpet dirty and shower not clean glass around it not safe no shower mat curtains faded and hanging off rail WiFi rubbish half an hour to get t.v on bathroom water to boil kettle cracked cup cigarette burns on window sill lift broke down had to walk up to 4th floor with my sticks have very bad legs not a welcome on arrival or departure only person with nice manners was a young boy in the restaurant so polite unlike man on front house the whole place needs a make over broken glass out front walls in room very rough very comfy bed but overall not a pleasant experience at all didn't think to take picture of room

Its okay to get the head down for the night room was clean. The hotel needs a full deep clean and paint and new furniture as it was falling apart. The food was good but no menus or any choices of meal meal. This could be a good hotel if its well maintained to high standards. I would stay again of 1 night
