Terrible

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. But the room was terrible not the room I booked in the photos . Went to speak to reception but got absolutely nowhere with her . I looked a room with window to floor two chairs and a table and got a tiny box room with the cupboard doors missing as room to small to open the doors . The room was not cleaned once in our 3 night stay . We never got any new towels put in the room or even the bin emptied . The window did not open the skirtings were covered in dirt and dust and mold all over the toilet and shower area . Nice and close Blackpool centre all the entertainment beach and bars

Very small rooms . Bed was very uncomfortable. . Stains on the duvets Broken doors in cupboards.. cheap toilet seats. No ventilation in rooms . Wouldnt stay there agin . Spend the extra 100 quid and stay in a nice hotel on sea front .5 mins past blackpool

Next to "most things" ie Blackpool tower" etc and not far from " Blackpool North" railway station. BUT very small bedroom(one side of bed was AGAINST the wall). Very noisy because the "lift" was ouside our room. Noisy doors "slammers"...BUT worth the £97? Ish for the location. Good luck STILL 3.9+ star's

As expected it was basic. The property is a bit dated. It says 24/7 reception and bar. This was not the case. Twice shouted for service and gave up. Breakfast today. Frozen bread (still partly frozen) was put out for toast. Sweaty cheese was also a bit off putting.

At first I was very sceptical because of the negative reviews, ut I am glad to say that our stay was more than pleasant. Our room was huge as was the bathroom all immaculate, breakfast was only continental but more than adequate. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would certainly go back again.

I recently stayed at the Royal Alexandra Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness throughout the property. From the sparkling lobby to the pristine rooms, every corner was well maintained and spotless. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work—fresh linens, gleaming bathroom fixtures, and dust-free surfaces made the space feel both welcoming and hygienic. Even communal areas like the dining room and hallways were consistently tidy and fresh. Not only was the hotel immaculately clean, but the atmosphere was warm and professional. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything felt organised and well-cared-for. If you're looking for comfort, great service, and top-notch cleanliness, the Royal Alexandra truly delivers. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Room needs a revamp. Paper coming off the ceiling, holes in the walls. Had no hot water the full weekend. Staff were pleasant when you could find them! Didn’t realise I’d paid for a continental breakfast, I thought it would be a cooked breakfast after looking at photos. Restaurant is non existent and the bar is bottle service at the reception

A Wonderful Stay at the Royal Alexandra Hotel, Blackpool From the moment I arrived at the Royal Alexandra Hotel, I was greeted with warm hospitality and genuine professionalism. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff couldn't have been more attentive or welcoming. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully appointed — with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. Despite being in the heart of Blackpool, the atmosphere was peaceful, allowing for a great night’s sleep. What really sets this hotel apart is its outstanding service. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. Whether it was advice on local attractions or dietary requests at mealtimes, nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfasts were hearty and satisfying, served in a bright and cheerful dining area. It made for the perfect start to each day before exploring nearby landmarks like the Winter Gardens, the Tower, and the beachfront — all just a short walk away. The Royal Alexandra Hotel is a gem — a well-run, friendly hotel that delivers excellent value and a genuinely enjoyable experience. System was down during check in,so the staff made us to wait half an hour to check-in instead of looking into alternative options.after getting the room the shower room wasn’t draining out,so had to swap room at midnight.

Great overnight trip to blackpool

Was told lift was not working to upper floors so was given a family room on ground floor, check in pretty quick and smooth , pleasant staff, clean bathroom , comfy bed , the windows were a bit dirty and cruddy but this was the only blemish on an otherwise great experience

The service I received from your staff was very friendly ,helpful ,And always a smile there the good news stops with a shudder the room for all the bed linen was fresh the room was very small and sparse the walls are all marked and badly needing re-decorated the bathroom was adequate but again sparse the night time entertainment. Was non existent no bar open but what put the nail in the coffin for me was the breakfast CONTINENTAL are you serious man this is BlACKPOOL I got some lame excuse that they asked the guests or public and the consensus was continental was just fine well everyone I asked was horrified and said they would not return just because of that so your so called concencus is rubbish ,,just made up ,further proof is just look at practically every street has a cafe selling among other things FULL ENGLISH breakfasts so the upshot is no I did not enjoy my stay and it is a pity the hotel is in a prime spot bang I n the middle of town very good staff just a poor condition

Room was ok tv worked. Shower screen was off its runners. Paid £22.00 extra on booking for breakfast but they so not ofder cooked breakfast only partly continental so dont pay the extra for breakfast as its in witb the price. No refund was ofdered
