The Sheraton is a very nice hotel in a really convenient location. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We often stay at the Sheraton the night before we fly out of Germany because it relieves the stress of trying to make it to the airport to catch a flight. Traffic jams are notorious in Germany and a pleasant evening at the Sheraton is a small price to pay for the peace of mind. Plus it’s really easy to catch a train into Frankfurt from the airport. Our only complaint is that there are no signs directing you to the reception desk at the entrance to the hotel. It has been several years since we stayed there and the new signs are really confusing…especially if you are exhausted from traveling. There is a sign that says “Sheraton Bar Restaurants”. Then you walk in and there is a bar and a restaurant. We walked out and saw a sign to the Marriott next door. We went back out into the concourse and only found one entrance to the hotel. We concluded there must be a reception desk somewhere so we drug our luggage through the restaurant area and eventually found the reception desk. Later we had some beers at the restaurant and watched other confused travelers wander around looking for reception. It seems to be a common problem.

This is the 4th time I stayed here and the spa was closed. After a long flight from California I really look forward to the sauna as their sauna and spa area are very nice buts it’s seems always under repair! Also their main restaurant was closed for holiday which is crazy as guest still need food!!!!!

We had reservations and still had to wait over an hour to check in with other travelers trying to use vouchers for flight delays. Upon arriving to the room we realized the air was not working immediately. I went down stairs to ask for assistance and was told to go back to my room and dial 9 to get help. I did that at 7:40pm and no one came. I called again at 9:10pm and asked for assistance and still no one came. I walked back downstairs at 9:40pm to ask for assistance and at that point also asked for some sheets to sleep with instead of a blanket and was told I could go back to my room and they would call or send someone. All this time my mother was waiting in the room and still no one came to the room or called. We finally laid down to try to sleep about 10:30pm, it was warm. Room was clean. Facility appeared to be clean. Only 2 elevators were running the entire time and staff told us they were nearly fully booked, so lines were forming to go up and down from the lobby to rooms.
