Let me start by saying that WiFi and phone reception in my room was awful and I had to work downstairs. However, I had an excellent meal in their restaurant and it got even better when I used the sauna and steam room. A lovely pool and jacuzzi also which made up for the bad WiFi.

The hotel is very close to the European airport so it is very nice to have that option. The hotel offers free transportation but you do have to make sure you schedule the transfer as soon as possible and don't wait till the day before your flight since there's a lot of customers asking for the same time slot as you and there's nothing they could do, so keep that in mind. The rooms were very clean and the pool was very cool as well. No water rin rooms but down at the lobby area.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, convenient location

Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality. I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Ideally located for EuroAirport too.

Lovely hotel with good facilities

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark. The hotel was really easy to find and luckily not far from the motorway so I didn’t have to navigate too far. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and the service was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was good , but when we checked in got told restaurant was closed,we decided to have a few drinks at the bar, we went to bar and no one there another couple had been waiting a while gave up and went upstairs, so I went to reception to ask if bar was open, I got told yes il send someone, barmaid came over not looking impressed and couldn’t go any slower , rather than serving us she messed about first , finally got our drinks, there was no politeness from her then she disappeared again, other people came and left because she wasn’t there, after around 30 mins we wanted to order another drink, I went to reception again, and same girl shuffled out and appeared to sigh as she passed us and disappeared again, we were going to have another drink but just seemed that we weren’t welcome in the bar, I have been in a few mercure hotels and not received this quality of service before.

Overall the property was good although given the number we’ve stayed in recently would not rate it 4 star. Front desk staff were generally good except for one who was abrupt each time she dealt with us. Shower area should have some hold rails as the bath is very slippery. Room service good and meals excellent. The hot food offering for breakfast could have been more substantial.
