To Management of Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa,
I am writing to formally express my serious dissatisfaction with my recent stay. My experience fell far below the standards reasonably expected from a resort of your reputation.
Many staff members appeared unhappy, unwelcoming, and unwilling to provide basic hospitality. Simple requests were met with attitude and lack of professionalism. Despite remaining respectful and tipping consistently, the level of service did not improve, which reflects poorly on staff training and management oversight.
A major issue was the complete lack of pool towels after approximately 5:00 PM. Denying guests essential amenities while the pool remains open is unreasonable and gives the impression guests are being forced to leave early due to poor operational planning.
I was also frustrated by the strict smoking restriction on private balconies. While I respect the no-smoking rule inside rooms, prohibiting smoking in an open, private outdoor space is excessive and should be clearly disclosed before booking.
There were multiple power outages during my stay, causing repeated inconvenience and raising concerns about infrastructure reliability and guest comfort.
Most concerning was the rude and dismissive behavior of the water park staff toward my daughter and brothers, which created an upsetting and unacceptable situation for my family at what is advertised as a family-friendly resort.
Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing
