What I didn't like: 1) you cannot darken the room, blinds and curtains are inadequate 2) you can hear people playing tennis in front of your room and if you are sleeping in, it is very intrusive 3) fitness center is completely inadequate by any contemporary standards (not enough equipment, very low quality equipment and very small space) 4) bathroom sink faucet did not fumction properly, but they fixed it right away, within one hour after i brought it to their attention (great compliment for that). Other than what i listed above, the rest was very good. The staff was great, no objections there.

Convenient, safe location in the preferred north part of the city. Shower was in a high bathtub, which was inconvenient to climb into. Some furnishings are old, dated, but we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast were great, dining restaurant good. Staff was very helpful, including concierge and driving service with Cesar.

I have selected this property for years, and while other excellent options exist, the Carlton distinguishes itself through exceptional staff and outstanding customer service. The familiarity and longevity of many staff members contribute to a sense of ownership and dedication. The restaurant offers high-quality food and an excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel as it represents exceptional value.

They need a bartender who knows about drinks 🍸, also the bar service is very short they close @10 pm people have to go out to look for bar service outside the hotel !
