We loved the hotel and our room with a huge balcony! The hotel is located conveniently to a variety of restaurants as well as historic sites the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We stayed at Hotel Roma for 3 nights in April 2025. The hotel is very conveniently located just off the main square, about 30 min from the airport. All the main sights are within walking distance and there is a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops in the vacinity. The hotel is traditional but modern inside. It’s my second stay at this hotel and I love it. It’s very traditionally Italian so don’t expect sleek and modern. But that’s how I like my hotels in Italy. The location is perfect - right in the historical centre and literally seconds away from great bars and restaurants and all the main sights in Bologna centre. The buffet breakfast is great and the staff really helpful.

Hotel is an old building that retains grand staircase and furniture in common areas. Polite helpful staff. Breakfast buffet adequate. Very good lunch. Location is perfect with heart of Bologna in walking distance.

, they were very rude. We had an emergency situation to deal with. We had to leave to come home for a hurricane, we didn’t step 1 foot in their hotel. They said they wouldn’t charge us and they charged us $527. Very bad
