This house is perfect for family trips. The large deck off of the main floor offers a wonderful place to sit and take in the beauty of the High Country. Outlaws' Haven sits at 4000 feet. This is our FAVORITE part of the house! Centrally located, you are in walking distance to the Mountains-to-Sea hiking trail and 1 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

***Outlaws’ Haven is equipped with two outdoor security cameras and motion activated lights. One is located above the garage door, recording the driveway and the other is on the front porch, recording the steps and driveway.

*** RVs and vehicles with trailers cannot access the property and street parking in the neighborhood is prohibited ***
*** Winter Driving Note: Renters must be prepared for a challenging approach during winter weather conditions. Please don't rent if you're not prepared to handle accessing on this driveway, even if icy. 4-wheel drive and chains may be necessary between October and March, if we have winter conditions such as snow and ice.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination featuring a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as a hot tub or take in the view from a garden. Additional features at this lodge include barbecue grills and babysitting service.

For our family vacation this home was truly a beautiful place to stay and unplug from the busyness of this world. Staci and her family have made this home so welcoming. The family time spent on the deck was priceless! Watching the sun rises, sunsets, and star gazing was medicine for one’s soul. Many precious memories were made during our stay.

Wonderful location! House was perfect for the size of our family! The home was well maintained, clean and had everything needed for cooking for a large group. MLK Weekend

We enjoyed spending time with friends and family for a long weekend. We had three families stay at the house and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the long weekend. We enjoyed skiing and playing in the snow. Great location!

Epic and epicurean mountain vacation

This is a spacious luxury mountain home with expansive views, a well appointed kitchen, and an eight-person hot tub steps from the house. With two families with 3 kids ages 7-9 and a 14 year old we had a lot of room to spread out. A 15 minute drive the Appalachian Ski Mountain made it quick to get to winter activities. The kitchen!!!A huge island made hanging out while cooking super easy. The kitchen has everything you might need for homemade meals. You could even make a thanksgiving spread with all the pots and pans, cutting boards, spices, and baking sheets. There are two ovens and a 5-burner gas stove. We skied for two days and came back to relax I. The hot tub each night, wearing hats to battle the wind :)Thanks for a great stayMy only negative feedback was the difficulty in finding the entry code. I could not find it in the app or My email after 10 minutes of trying. That is not the owners fault but a VRBO design issue. The owner texted me the code right while I was busy looking so it all turned out great.

The house is just lovely! The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need to cook for your family. The family room is large and perfect for playing board games and watching movies. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The house was very clean and communication with the owner was excellent.

This was my third time staying at Outlaws Haven. I loved the property so much and Staci was so responsive, that when our family wanted to do Thanksgiving in the mountains, I had just the spot. The house is beautiful and convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. All amenities are top notch. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Great Location

The house is very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. There's 2 nice bedrooms downstairs off the garage but there's only 1 bathroom downstairs for the 2 bedrooms to share. The only issue is you have to walk thru one of the bedrooms to use the bathroom. For our group this wasn't an option so we ended up not using one of the bedrooms downstairs and my adult son slept in the loft instead. This bathroom situation is not clear in the description but nonetheless we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful deck

So enjoyed our family’s stay at this beautiful property. It’s just as described in the listing maybe even better. Everything you need is right there and more. The deck on the back of the house is where our family spent most of our time. The view was stunning. Would 100% come back here again.

Most beautiful pastoral view!

What a beautiful view and a beautiful home! We visited during the winter months for our annual Girl's retreat with my mom, sisters, and loads of daughters! The home was very well stocked, we cooked every meal. We enjoyed the hot tub, especially while it was snowing outside. Loved being only a short walk to the Mountains to Sea trail. Staci, the host, was very responsive. The set up with the bedrooms in the basement was a bit of a surprise to us, walking through the garage to access; but it worked out so well in the end. My sister and her daughters and little grandbaby slept there and we nicknamed it the "Haven". We would love to visit again in the warmer months to enjoy the large outdoor deck and covered porches! Thank you!

Fantastic house!

The pictures do not do this house justice! It was a “wow” when we walked in! The spacious living area and kitchen were great for the 3 families that stayed here for a weekend of skiing. The owners were very responsive. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We wish it was warmer to be able to spend some time on the huge deck with nice views! The kids enjoyed the hot tub after a chilly day of skiing! We would definitely stay here again!

Home with great amenities and comfort

The view was beautiful sitting around the outdoor fire table. Three en-suite rooms were very comfortable. The in-law suite did require several steps through the garage. Once inside it was our own oasis. All communication with the owners was quick and efficient. There were games and lots for small kids to be entertained. The driveway is tricky. We loved our stay.
