Very hard mattress

The overall stay was okay but I have rated them down because the bed was so hard I couldn’t sleep on it. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter using it as a mattress topper to be able to finally fall asleep. I was not aware you could even buy a mattress that hard.

Everyone was wonderful and went above and beyond. We traveled with kids and the staff it was very family friendly. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable.

Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great for our needs. It was our last night in Iceland before flying back to Florida. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. The dining room was beautiful and we had dinner and drinks afterward in the bar. The art on the walls throughout was fantastic and the experience pleasant.

Clean, quiet hotel with good restaurant. Only negative was that our family room was very tiny without closets for our luggage or hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes/towels.

Great stop between snaelfellsnes and Thingvellir

This was a great place. Of note, there is not much in town, and “town” is very small. There’s a grocery store that closes early, a gas station, and maybe 2-3 bars/restaurants, no other shops. But it was a good stopping place between the Thingvellir national park and the snaelfellsnes peninsula. The restaurant seemed like it could be good, it was cute; admittedly we didn’t have time to try it. The pool downstairs is about a foot deep, just for cooling down, and they have a hot tub, sauna and steam room which were all free and it was a very nice feature. The front desk is not well staffed, but they were very friendly and informative when they were there. The room was very nice, modern, and clean. Overall a great option

The front desk was so friendly and lovely, beautiful restaurant and bar in the hotel, the spa was perfect ending to a perfect vacation. We chose a family room had bunkbeds absolutely lovely. I would suggest rails on the upper bunkbeds, but it was a perfect hotel, and I would absolutely Visit it again. Also, we ate at the rib and burger restaurant across the street and we had a great meal.

The only thing i didnt know about was that you can't get in the building after 12am as the night ataff have locked up. You have to call a number for them to let you in.

This hotel is very pretty and updated but the parking is pretty bad. There are only a few parking spaces in the front and they don’t tell you if you can park on the side or in the back and there aren’t really any signs. The bed came apart when you laid on it. The TV was a smart TV so you could stream shows which was nice. The staff was not very friendly and the spa is not open 24 hours but they also don’t tell you the hours that it is open? Our tea and coffee tray had open tea bags with no tea in them. It was a nice hotel and did the job for one night but we probably wouldn’t stay here again.
