We loved staying at Copley House! The staff gave us many tips for getting around. Our room was very clean, comfy bed, and exactly as pictured. The neighborhood was quaint, and an easy walk to the T for access to everywhere in Boston. We walked to Newbury street and enjoyed the shops and restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot to call home for our visit.

Nice location, historic charm, but it's still a retrofitted apartment building, not a hotel. If you spent your formative years at school in downtown Boston, these spaces may rekindle the passion of youth. If you didn't, you may wonder why light from the hallway shines under your door and the shower controls date from 1982.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Great shower pressure. Helpful and friendly staff (Ren) at the front desk during check-in. Quiet and peaceful despite being in the city. And i would return. For these reasons, the overall rating is 5 stars, though 4.5 might be more appropriate as there were 3 minor issues. The bed was supposed to be a queen though it’s considerably smaller than the queen i have at home, and I wonder if it’s actually a full sized bed. The towel I used was frayed and had a hole in it, and there were strands of towel on me after drying off. The ceiling had discolored areas.

Great location in BackBay near train station and Prudential Center. We walked everywhere from Harvard along the river to Bunker Hill on the Freedom Trail. Very clean nice small place. Walls are paper thin so if your neighbors are noisy you are in for restless night. Small kitchen with large grocery store right around the corner makes it helpful to prepare breakfast before the day of touring begins. Walked up to fourth floor with bags so this is obviously not possible for some folks.
