Good stay overall. If the management wanted to turn this into an even better experience they would improve the bath on floor “3” by adding hooks or shelves to put your stuff while showering etc, repaint especially the ceiling with some mildew, and slightly redo the shower floor so it doesn’t have a pool of the last person’s shower water. All small things but also easy to fix to make it from an economical stay to a really good stay.

I have no clue why this place even has the word suites in the name. The photos absolutely are not what the rooms look like. It is extremely old, outdated, and cheap. I had no clue there was a community bathroom you had to share with everyone on your floor until after i had booked and they sent an email. Very misleading to say the least.

Overall was a horrible experience. The room was not as pictured. It was basically a closet with a bed shoved into it.The bathroom on the floor was not even a bathroom. It was a closet with one toilet in it. No sink, the room itself was next to a highway which was so loud no one should be exposed to that during sleep. I can’t believe they sold me this. Horrible, horrible horrible This is basically a flop house. Falling apart, trash on the street in front of the property. Do not in anyway stay at this place or pay more than $75.

Fine if you’re not fussy

If you’re not too fussy, this place is fine. The location is great and the bed was super comfy. Check in and check out was very easy. My room was very noisy. The window is propped open for the ac vent and the property is on a busy road so the traffic noise is intolerable without ear plugs. Luckily I had some with me. The shared bathroom is OK. It was always free when I needed it but there was a leak from the room above and some of the plaster from the ceiling fell down during my stay. Some of the earlier reviews mention a mouse in the room at night. Thankfully I saw no evidence of mice but I was on the third floor and didn’t bring snacks into the room just in case! I wouldn’t stay here again but it was cheap and served a purpose.

Decent accommodation for a good price

Economic accommodation, good location, proximity to great restaurants and cafes. Shared washroom between residents can be hard, depending on the other residents' cleanliness. The management has a daily cleaning scheduled. Kitchen is very low on supplies, no spoons or forks could be found. Only bowls and some pans. Good place to stay if you plan to stay out most of the day and only need a place to crash at night and to keep your luggage at during the day.

Great location, OK room, rough bathroom situation

The room was OK, bed comfortable. It has in-suite sink, fridge and microwave along with a portable burner and some dishes and cutlery, which was nice to have. The condition was a little rough with patched wall paper and some of the wallpaper peeling at the seams. There are also washers and dryers in the building, which was great. The biggest issue was the shared bathroom. There are two shared bathrooms, one on every other floor. I was on the 4th floor so the nearest full bathroom was down a flight of steps. There was a toilet closet on the 4th floor, but literally just a toilet in a closet (also shared with other rooms on the floor). So each fill bathroom is shared by 8+/- rooms. I didn’t have an issue with sharing the bathroom, but the shower valve wasn't attached well and the style of the valve was difficult to figure out and I was never able to get the water temperature to anything higher than luke warm. The shawer also was leaky and the shower curtain wasnt great so water would overspray onto the floor and it was constantly a little wet and felt a little dirty. Also, the room I was in faced I-90 and the traffic noise was pretty loud which made it difficult to sleep. The portable A/C unit worked well but was also pretty loud. The location was great and very convenient to walk to downtown and the sites of Boston. I was in Boston solo for this trip and it worked fine for me but, I wouldn't bring my wife here.

Excellent value for the price! I recommend it highly. More amenities in the rooms than they list online, including microwave, mini fridge, coffee, toaster, iron, hair dryer, some clothes hangers. Soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Comfy and clean bed. A charming old brownstone.

No hot water - whole stay

It's a budget stay and the accomadation reflects the price. The major problem was no hot water at the properly. The owners dont seem to think this is problem or will deny the water is cold. . I had 4 cold showers which was not an enjoyable experience, unless thats your thing?
