Great location (easily bike into town and super nice park with lots of kids equipment/apparatus and 2 tennis/pickleball courts adjacent to the Library and Community Center), and access to bike trails. The kitchen-dining-living room open concept layout, bedroom layouts are great. The pier setup is great. It is shallow near the shoreline and there is sand on both sides of pier from shoreline making little-kid water play easy and possible. Nice water toys: 2 Kayaks and paddle board. And, 3 nice adult sized bikes for riding trails. (Bikes are more mountain bike style with somewhat bigger tires, which still work well; I would not consider them to be Hybrid or Road bike styles.)2 nice Bathrooms are roomy and updated and wash/dryer are nice. The only negative was the track system for older windows, especially in the basement, makes opening and closing for additional airflow difficult, causing a musty smell there. Nice to have garage access for our bikes and gear and very nice that a second refrigerator is available in garage too. Dan was super responsive, responding to VRBO messages within 5-10 minutes or earlier. Much appreciated. Overall, would recommend.

With two living rooms, 4 comfortable bedrooms, a ping pong table, large dining table, well-appointed kitchen, a deck, a dock, kayaks, SUP, canoe, bikes and beautiful Boulder Lake, along with some good luck with perfect weather, this property made for a magical Up North experience for our family. We encountered white dear, numerous fawns, bald eagles, dueling hummingbirds, all kinds of fish, and loons who lured us to sleep every night! We enjoyed all our meals at the cabin and many game nights filled with antics, strategy and laughter. We attended local free fishing clinics, visited the ice cream shops and BJ's coffee almost daily, strolled through the shops, fished the local streams and lakes, and biked the local paths. It was a great stay!

Boulder lake lodge stay- early June

The Boulder lake lodge was a very nice place to stay!- Large bedrooms and living space- nice bathrooms, large kitchen with just about everything you need to prepare meals- lower level rec room was nice to be able to spread out- ping pong table was a hit with my son. It was nice having attached garage space with extra frig as well-- 3 nice bikes to use on the trails. or quiet roads in the near the lodge. Very quiet and private outdoor space as well with nice deck overlooking the lake- Nice campfire area overlooking the lake as well- alot of firewood as well-plenty of parking for cars and trailers. Decent dock area for boats and fishing- sandy area near the shore once you climb down the large rocks on the shoreline. Weeds at the end of the dock- Dark stained water but quite lake with minimal boat traffic. Be sure to get a map of the lake to follow depths- Some rock hazards are not marked on the lake with buoys. Dan was quick to reply to questions I had. Close to town- 2 miles and boat launch just down the road. For the most part was a very nice place to stay!
