What l liked about our experience is the staff ,breakfast and that it is located where you are able to access almost everything. What l disliked is the noise. They must put extra effort in cleaning their premises eg rooms ,pool etc But general experience was Ok

My bed mattress was not great as rather uncomfortable. The floorboards under the carpet were very creaky especially between the room and the en-suite! I could tell that the occupant upstairs had the exact same issue and this was pretty noisy when they walked around that area! The hotel is very near a dual carriageway so if you open the windows on that side the traffic is loud.i used earplugs and would suggest visitors bring some too. The breakfast was ok but they do tend to bring the toast with drinks before the cooked part so that it’s cold unless you want to eat it straight away. The waiters and waitresses are great and very friendly. The hotel staff are very efficient and they run a good business.

We stayed as a group of four in one room. While the hotel is affordable, there were a few issues that affected our comfort. The mattresses were not very comfortable, and there were no lightweight blankets available for the warmer weather. Our towels were not changed daily—just folded and placed together—which caused some confusion. I accidentally used my friend’s towel and noticed brown stains on it, which was very disappointing and concerning. Overall, the experience could have been better with more attention to cleanliness and guest comfort.

Nice and clean

It was nice and tidy room we got and staff were very friendly. Only thing is toilet doesn’t have proper ventilation out system. Anyhow it was really nice experience for our family. Good luck Laguna hotel.❤️👍

Yes the hotel is dated. Our room was basic but clean, it however served our purposes perfectly for the price. No soap etc in the shower. Sea front a steady 15/20 min walk through a beautiful park. Car parking could be a problem on site,but we park OK. Overall a basic no frills hotel. We didn't use the pool so can't comment.

Staff was very helpful and provided great service. Hotel its self needs upgrade as it is walkmg back to 80. Needs new furniture as bed was overused and very unconfortable.

We were in the Annex, near the door on the ground floor so people congregated outside our window smoking and being noisy late into the night. Limited parking but the staff did help . Linens were clean. Tap in bathroom couldn’t be turned off. Had a bath but couldn’t adapt fixing to fill bath from the shower option. Room very tired and dated. Tv was the size of an iPad on the wall. Didn’t use pool as full of kids. Kettle took about 5 mins to boil Room we were in was very different to what was shown on website but guess that’s the luck of the draw as so many different sections

For an overnight stay this hotel was perfect. We arrived mid afternoon and there were plenty of parking spaces availabile but it filled up quickly. The receptionist was friendly and eficient. Our room was on the 3rd floor accessed by a small but adequate lift. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was firm which was a pleasanr change. Soundproofing was a bit of a disappointment. We could hear the occupants of the room next to us coughing and snoring throughout the night. We felt guilty showering at 5am but we had an early departure so we could get to Poole to catch a ferry home. Whilst the indoor advertised looked lovely we couldnt get near it due to the numerous children bombing into the water and shrieking. It was lovely to see them enjoying themselves but disappointing for us as we love to get a swim in when we cam.

We only stayed two night . The rooms for this Hotel are in a number of buildings, we were in main house, unfortunately the resident above us was very heavy footed into the early hours. Hotel a bit dated though very clean . Couldn’t fault staff all very helpful. Breakfast is a must , it was fresh and delicious. Bar reasonable prices piped music could do with updating playing 40/50 music while we were there. Area around a little hilly , location 15 min walk to town centre, 6 min walk to bus stop ( Poole /Bournmouth) . We would return

The only good think i like aboyt the place waaas the Location. as great. You need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel because you are provided with none. The shower wasn't working properly. You mix the hot and cold water and only hot water coming. The pullowas were rock hard, i had a neck pain at the end of my stay. The room on the third floor was baking hot . No fan or air conditioning. I had to open the windows and curtains all night but still no air circulation. My daughter had a migraine, i went to ask for a fan at the reception and i was told there was no fan or air conditioning in tje hotel, to bring her down in the public area for her to cool down and it was actually past 9pm. How can i drag a child with intense pain that can barely open her eyes to come and sit at a table !

Room was filthy and outdated. Carpet hadn’t been vacuume,mold in the bathroom. Everything smelled musty and looked neglected. Booked for two nights and left after one night. Avoid this place — not worth the money.
