We wish we owned this house! Beautiful and the decor, tile, hardware, furniture was cozy. Would love to know where you purchased the decor from. The bunk beds were long and comfy. If I may make a few suggestions. Have a full size mirror behind door in bunk room and the downstairs bath with the two separate showers was great only wish there was a niche to put your items on. Outside big spider web near BBQ by outlet, wish it was taken care of before our arrival. The host was very nice and responded quickly. Perfect for accommodating large groups we had a great time and made amazing memories. Thank you :)

Good family fun

The place was clean and new. Had just about everything we needed. The only down side is getting up the hill the night we came. No salt was on the drive up, also no salt in or around the cabin to prevent falls. Otherwise great stay, I would recommend it to others

This was a gorgeous house on the top of a hill with a lot of space :) Everything was clean and the neighbors were friendly too! The porch is perfect for a cup of coffee and enjoying the sunrise. The only issue we had was the hot tub kept breaking and we were never able to fully use it which stinks because you pay for amenities like that. They tried to fix the hot tub but it was a temporary fix and it seems like the hot tub had been having issues prior and they were trying hard to trouble shoot it. Some things are not in the control of the owners and that’s why I still give this place 5 stars because they put forth the effort to make this an amazing experience and it was. If you’re considering renting, stop considering and just do it!

Great boyne getaway!

This property was amazing right at the top of the hill you can see all the skiers flying by or going by on the chair lift. We were pleased with the house there was enough room for all 14 of us. The jacuzzi was amazing. Probably our favorite thing about the house. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be renting again next year for our annual cousins trip. Thanks again !!!!!!!

Great stay for my husbands birthday!

We had a great time staying at the Alpine house for my husbands birthday. It was the perfect size for our group. The location is awesome! I love that the chair lift is right outside of the house. My only suggestion is to have a four wheel drive because a few of our guests got stuck on the hill on the way up and needed a tow. If I have any critiques, it would be for the homeowner to supply better bedding/pillows/mattress. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable, so bring your own pillows. Also, there was a big cleaning fee with this rental, yet there was a random sock and dental pick under our bed when we arrived. Other than that, everything was perfect. This house is a really great layout and size- could be very chic with some cosmetic updates! We would definitely rent again.

Very nice house, and clean. Nice layout to support a large group (our party was a group of 11 with 5 children). All of the extras (hot tub, fire pit, grill, wifi) were working without issue. Beds were comfortable. Nice location within Boyne Mountain in a gated community. If I had to knit pick....grill needed to be cleaned before using.

Missed Opportunity

HIGHS: Great location & layout; Well-stocked kitchen; Flawless WiFi internet LOWS: Broken hot hub, Broken coffee maker, Broken fire pit. Other reviews reveal that this is a great place normally, and that is likely true. However, our limited vacation time was marred with increasing problems with the property. We were told of the hot tub being closed only during our drive up to start our vacation. We specifically searched VRBO for places with hot tubs, so that was a poor start. After being told it would be fixed in a day, we had to ask for updates constantly on the repair. No one ever came to repair it during our entire stay. We also found the coffee maker in the same broken condition as the review from Harold A. in August of 2019. Is it difficult to replace a $30 drip coffee maker in a year? The firepit control mounting is broken, making it nearly impossible to use the gas firepit. We also found a used band-aid and cigar on the screened-in porch during this pandemic. There were other maintenance items which were less important, but uncovering new problems each day on vacation is not what you expect at these premium prices. While the manager was responsive, the issues remained. As long as you are not looking for a hot tub, fire pit, or coffee on your northern Michigan escape, this will be the place for you. We were refunded about 1% of our rental cost by NME, but I feel this is not enough compensation given the issues we experienced and vacation time we cannot repeat.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home with all the amenities. Well thought out for larger groups. Beds, showers, kitchen, etc. were all very nice and supported the group well. Loved the gas firepit and all the supplied seating. Enough room to play together and allow for some individual quiet time.

Great ski house

House was perfect for two families with young kids. The ski in and ski out option was exactly what we wanted. Also the outdoor gas fire place and hot tub were a huge hit.
