The Space:

First floor unit directly accessible from our lush tropical courtyard. This vacation rental has a large, coastal inspired living area with a pull-out sofa, two accent chairs, large modern kitchen, built in dining bench with under-seat storage, smart TV and screened porch with additional seating for four, plus two bedrooms-each with a king bed and en suite bathroom with its own shower.



While the 2024 hurricane season was devastating, it also provided the opportunity for a floor to ceiling renovation of this vacation rental. This unit is how fully restored and better than ever, featuring all-new interior finishes, updated systems, modern amenities, and thoughtfully curated design details throughout.



The courtyard offers an outdoor oasis with dining tables and a nice grilling area with a gas grill. Anna Maria Island Getaway has all your beach needs covered (beach chairs, umbrellas, towels & carts). With its unique blend of charm and comfort, this beach rental is more than just accommodation—it's an invitation to experience the laid-back coastal lifestyle in a setting that feels like a home away from home!



All units are accessed via our lush, red brick tropical courtyard with seating areas for outdoor relaxing /dining and gas grills. Washer and dryer are available on site for no additional charge. Each unit is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella and has access to our shared beach carts and fishing equipment. Property is equipped with an outdoor shower.

Overall great, clean place

The property was in an excellent location and the little condo community was really cute. The condo itself is very clean, but quite small with not much space in the kitchen/living area to hang out, so we enjoyed the courtyard several times. The short walk across the street to the Gulf and to the end of the road to the bay dock was priceless though! We also walked up to Bridge St several times for dinner, shopping, and coffee. It was a fine place to stay for a few nights, but being such a tight space, we probably wouldn’t book for much longer. A few things to note: The small bedroom has no windows and we could hear everything (!) through the wall to the next condo. The shower in that bathroom is tiny, kind of like a motor home shower. There is no bathtub in this unit. I also bumped my head twice on the corner of a metal shelf in the bigger bathroom, the second time quite badly. The host didn’t reply to my note letting him know this and suggesting that it be replaced or padded, so please be careful if it’s still there. He did, however, bring coffee filters out another time after we discovered that there weren’t any available. I’ll also note that the Little Free Library at the entrance was appreciated!

Location is perfect for a young family

Great spot for our family of 5. Location can’t be beat if you’re looking to spend a lot of time on the beach. Easy to walk down to bridge street for meals, dessert, and put put golf. All the wagons, chairs, and beach toys are available so you don’t have to worry about packing those. Space is small (as mentioned by other reviews) but we spent more time out. Our three young kids (6, 4, and 2) were able to share the king bed.

It's all about Location!

This property is located directly across the street from the beach. An easy walk even with a wagon full of chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels. Speaking of beach essentials, they are provided! The only complaint we had was the lack of seating in the living room.

just steps to the beach

This is our third time at this location, (not the same room though) we enjoy the ease of walking and staying so close to the Bridge Street area and Beach! This place was great for 4 to sleep but in living area not enough furniture to all comfortably sit in living area, it is small it was ok, one or two of us were always back in the bedrooms to watch TV or lay down in the evening so all was good. One shower is super small, and stove/oven needs replaced, burners are not level. Thanks for the extra supplies in case you cant make it to the store before you arrive...like dish liquid, tp, soap. Cleaning crew very pleasant! So good to have use of umbrella, goggles, beach chairs, soft igloo, pool noodles, sand toys! We didn't use the grills but others did and boy did it smell good! We love it here in this complex! Thanks so much!

A great little private bungalow

We really enjoyed this spot! Tucked away in a little garden, it was quiet and private even though it was within a group of properties. Easy access to the beach, lots of chairs and umbrellas are provided (and carts to carry everything)! We loved our stay and time on the island. This will be a favorite vacation destination for years to come!

We all had a great time at this property and found it to be clean and comfortable. This is my second stay in this general location, and the constant improvements made at the property are apparent. The location close to one of my preferred beaches on the island is icing on the cake. Communication with the property manager was pleasant. Easy to recommend!

Delightful place to stay!

Thus is our second time to stay at this property. Each time has been a time to relax and rest especially with the nice clean courtyard and grills to enjoy eating outside if you want to cook your own meals. The cottage/bungalow was nice and clean and Chris the property manager was very helpful with all that was needed for a wonderful stay! Will definitely book again and enjoy our little time in paradise in AMI!!

Great place to stay

We loved staying at Island Getaway. It was quiet and clean. Very close to the beach. Nice little courtyard. Loved having laundry facilities onsite. The handicapped accessible bathroom was the reason we chose this cottage and it worked out great. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a handicapped accessible place to stay.
