Great Family Spot

Worked great for our family of 9. The granny flat was perfect for the kids with a toddler so he didn’t wake the rest of the family up early mornings. Views are beautiful, star gazing was fantastic!! Kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our only issue was battling ants the whole time! Lost all of the blueberry muffins to them!

Family Summer Vacation

Our family takes an annual boating trip to the lake. This place was perfect place for all 10 of us and the location couldn’t have been better. It was fun to see all the wildlife either early in the morning or on our way back from the lake. We will definitely be back.

Lake View

We had a great time at Hope's place. The view of Lake Nacimiento was beautiful and we had a wonderful time seeing deer out the back door. The proximity to the lake was a huge bonus and the house was well stocked with things we needed. Thanks so much!

Best lake house

We stayed at Hopes Place with family and friends and went to the lake everyday. The house had everything we needed and plenty of place for people to sleep. The views were amazing and the property was really private. We usually rent at Oak shores but we got sick of dealing with rowdy neighbors and so many obstacles for parking our boat and trailer and cars! hopes place is so easy to access and you don’t have to deal with rowdy people. We are staying there again this weekend. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone. The property managers were so great to deal with, and easy to contact!

Third Stay...

This was our third visit to Lake Nacimiento in the least six or seven years. We always stay at Hope's Place - it's comfortable, beautifully maintained, and the location is unbeatable. Perched all by itself on a bluff overlooking the dam, it's remarkably private and quiet yet just a five minute drive to either the marina or to the little village where there's an excellent grocery store, a gas station and a lively pizza joint. The marina offers for rent about a dozen brand new and very fancy deck boats (not cheap...). We also highly recommend the "Friends of Fred Wakeboarding School" if you want to do some wakeboarding - also not cheap, but a wonderful experience.

Lovely time at the lake

Our family had a great time taking in the views and playing the various games available at the house. We even saw a bald eagle hanging out in a tree on the ridge. On our drives around the area, we also saw a golden eagle, more bald eagles, prarie falcons, tule elk, jackrabbit, and wild boar, so the nature viewing was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.

Great place for all ages

We all enjoyed our stay at Hope's place! The house has everything you need plus so much more. The kids loved the game room and bikes. The views were great and it was so serene. We had a family of deer visit every evening we were there. Lake and store were close by. It was a great vacation!

Hilltop house for family gathering

We enjoyed our stay here - two families totaling 4 adults and 7 kids, aged 4-14. The kitchen has just about every item you could imagine (including an "Evil Villain Lair", ha! = locked supply closet). The hilltop location was fun for the morning mist, sunset and stars! I only wish it had been a warmer month to sit out and stare at the stars longer... The game room part isn't heated, but the kids didn't care. Overall, it met our needs well, and the hosts were super friendly when we contacted them with a question. If we come to stay in this area again, we would definitely check to see if this house was available.

The house of our dreams

The house is located on top of a hill overlooking a a gorgeous forest of twisted oaks covered in Spanish moss. A very striking view and place to take a walk opening up to the view of Lake Nacimiento. There are two other houses on the driveway, that you really don't see or hear from the house. The rest of the surroundings are nature, including the very, very starry sky. The kitchen and bedrooms are extremely well appointed, the shades in the bedroom completely block the light, (except in the guest room); you can count on a very peaceful night sleep. The kitchen is huge, and so is the dining table. Perfect for a large group. The wifi is not great, so streaming movies on the Roku looks a bit pixelated. They have a DVD player. You can bring your own movies. They also have a small collection.

GREAT Place!!

The location was perfect, the house was amazing very clean and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The house was very kid friendly with lots of games and things for them to do. Very close to the Lake which was awesome b/c that’s where we spent most of the day. Definitely recommend Hope’s place and I would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely home in peaceful isolation

Even with oppressive heat over 100, we had a lovely stay in a cozy, well furnished house. Highlight was watching the glorious stars at night. Phenomenal. Even though the lake is an isolated location, we took nice drives to Paso Robles and Cambria for day trips.

Family Get Together Between NorCal and SoCal.

Property was generally clean and tidy. There was enough beds for everyone. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of space for our large family to hangout. Appliances could use a little update. The microwave blew out while popping popcorn. The range burner was all on or not. Water pressure is a bit low but considering elevation, it is what it is. Outdoor grill could use a cleaning. These are just a few minor inconveniences, but the view and the space is so nice. We’d come back again the next time there is a wine tasting event in the area.

Beautiful location with plenty of deer prancing around the place. The lake has evaporated and is much lower than the photo used to advertise this house, but overall had a great stay!!!

Peaceful place

We loved Hopes Place and would definitely stay there again! It’s in a great location close to the lake and stores. It’s stocked with everything you need including games and toys. It’s a peaceful and beautiful area and home. We all had a great time there! 😊

Family Vacation Stay

Our stay at Naci Estate was perfect. Our occasion was a family vacation with children, wives and their children. The house fit our need completely. It was very comfortable and roomy. The views were incredible both day and night. There was lots to do at the house and was close proximity to the lake ramp, emergency shopping for those forgotten items, and pizza. We will definitely will return.
