This hotel was a pretty good choice. I booked two rooms. One was fully stocked and the other room was missing items. I did receive most of the items I asked for but has to make a trip to the lobby due to front desk not ever answering the phone. Other than that we had a great stay. I will stay here again!

Disappointing Resort

The property was very hard to find parking, crumbs all over the room, it wasn’t cleaned properly, and the pool and hot tub was disappointing comparatively to the size of the resort. There were so many kids, it was not usable. Overall, not a great experience and would avoid.

I had to visit the front desk 4 times before I could get into my room. Each time I had to stand in line and wait my turn to talk with staff. I was on the 7th floor and each time I tried my key it would not work. On my 4th trip down to the desk someone came with me to the room to get in. I was told it had to do with daylight savings time. The hallway needed swept and there was something splattered on the wall in the bathroom.

Older hotel but nice for age the check in process was a serious draw back. We waited in a seriously long line as they did not allow anyone to check in until 4 I mean I tried to check in at 356 and they said check in is 4 so then we had to wait in a huge line. We got through the line then got to the room they had not given us the suite we had reserved. Go back down have to wait in the whole line again. Then the guy said do you have something that says you have a suite I show the reservation on my phone that says king suite and he says well I ll have to get a manager. He never goes and gets one just looks at me then gives us the new keys. This room was the suite. Later after dinner we go up to our room the key won’t work. Go back down and they say we have you checked into 2 rooms. I say yes the first room your people put us in was not what we reserved so I came back down as we wanted the suite it’s our anniversary. He said ok so which room are you in. I said we are in the suite. We literally only walked in the other room saw it was not a suite. Came back down. He said ok well we had to make sure you were not in 2 rooms. Really the entire thing was a serious take away from the experience.

Dated but good for the price.

The hotel is extremely dated, saw several leaky spots in the ceiling in various spaces. The ice machine on our floor wasn’t working. The pool area was pretty small for the size of the hotel, so it was too packed to get in. The bar, restaurant and coffee shop on site was nice, rooms were okay. If we are staying on a low budget, we will stay again. For the price, it wasn’t too bad!

I had to switch rooms due to a curtain issue on first floor facing parking lot and I being a single female. Second room, the tub stopper was completely broken and barely hot water. My chair had disgusting stains, looked like blood. The service was 1000% worth the stay though, especially the evening bartender. She made everything worth it. You need more employess like her. If coming for 5 star stay, look elsewhere, but overall, I would give room, food, service, and misc a 3 star.

Weekend away.

The staff at checking and the bar tender Carolyn were amazing. Beyond friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Our key card didn’t work. We had to go back down 3x. The last time maintenance filled us back up to fix the lock. Had dinner at the bar. Great atmosphere and food. Again, Carolyn was so wonderful. Our room was super clean. Outdated but clean. Then our bathroom was another story. We had hair (not from a head) in the shower, on the floor, in the toilet, and in the sink. There is no way our bathroom was cleaned. We also had a few roaches in the bathroom. 2 small ones, and then a full grown elder. The breakfast buffet was mid at best. The staff working that are not as friendly or attentive. Surprising contrast between them and the other staff we had encountered.

Won’t be staying again

Check in set the tone for the whole stay. Had to wait at least 30 minutes to check in, they were a little busy, and when I finally got to the desk the lady checking me in acted mad bc I didn’t want to do an hour slide show. I told her we don’t do those kinds of things twice. The room was suitable, the shower didn’t stay hot very long, there was a leak above the shower head. Told the lady at checkout about it bc it seamed to be getting worse and I got the feeling she didn’t believe me. I could have been wrong but that’s what I felt when I walked away from that desk. This was supposed to be an updated room and I paid the little extra for it.

Its a veey nice property, but after we checkin and got into our room, the toilet did not work and neither did the tv. Called down to lobby , and it took almost an hour and half for repairman to come , so we ended up fixing it ourselves. But other than that, very clean room, comfy bed, good restaurant and bar.

I’m not sure what to say, front desk needs to answer the phone, called several times and got no response. The last night we were in our room and a two year old girl had wandered into our room, tried to reach the front desk to get assistance but no response. My wife took the little girl to the front desk and she was reunited with her mother. I have to say that was a first.
