it's a all in resort, The food is not very good overall, the first day at lunch time, before i even sat down, i saw a mouse went through the restaurant, it was quite alerting. also food choice was quite limited and low quality. we had the villa room, it's very basic and very cold. The game drive was awesome, and the driver was amazing.

We had such a great time there and we appreciated every minute. The place is wonderful, the staff is great and there is everything to enjoy this peaceful moments from the pool to the gardens. Our room was spacious and clean. And obviously we loved our espace the reserve to see the animals, especially in the early morning.

The staff were superb, courteous and knowledgeable.

Staff & Service: The staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. Facilities: Everything felt well cared for, from the lodge amenities to the outdoor areas. Surroundings: The reserve itself is breathtaking—quiet, scenic, and full of unique rock formations. It’s a great base for stargazing, hikes, and soaking in the natural beauty. Highlights: Stargazing under the clear night sky was unforgettable. The guided nature walks gave us a deeper appreciation of the local wildlife and history. Dining options were varied and delicious, fresh with a nice balance of local flavors. Travel notes: Kagga Kamma is located about three hours’ drive from Cape Town, so plan ahead for the journey. The nearest town is roughly an hour and a half away, making the reserve very secluded. This adds to the tranquility, but it’s worth preparing for the remoteness.
