No complaints about staying here. It was a great hotel. My one issue is that they don’t have blackout curtains that work. They’re short and allow a lot of light in, which is really unfortunate if you’re staying during the midnight sun when the sun never sets.

Great property, very clean, excellent bar and great location as well. But a bit pricey. We got a noisy room along the road and cars revving their engines late in the night was not exactly pleasant.

A nice place to stay

the hotel was very nice. Very modern, decorated lobby with lots of seating. Bar was nice as well. Room was very nice, we had a couch that we could use to put our luggage on. Very quiet. I like when the sink is outside of the toilet area so two people can get ready more easily. The shower area and toilet area was very small and it was easy for the water from the shower to get over by the toilet and there was no drain on that side

This was a good property for us. Close enough to walk to the city center but not in the heart so a little less noisy perhaps. One busy street along the hotel but not bad after say 11 pm. We dined here and it was excellent. The dining staff was particularly friendly and really made our anniversary dinner special. We would stay at this hotel again.

It’s only about 2 blocks from downtown, which is really nice! It was a very easy check in, they do need your passport number if you’re checking in, but that’s easy. The bar in the lobby is very nice great selection!

Snow cozy mountain retreat

Circling the island on a solo camping trip, wanted to spend my birthday with a good meal and soft bed. Picked wonderful spot as the staff was outstanding giving wonderful recommendations and a well desired nights rest.

Okay but not amazing

We stayed at 3 Berjaya hotels and of them, this was our least favorite. Most notably, there was a strange smell in the room (I think because of the shower?) that reminded me of wet dog. The shower also was clogged so it would fill up to your ankles and I’d worry about it spilling over into our room. Besides this, the lobby of the hotel was very nice, as was the staff. Comfortable beds and blankets. Also offered to wake us up in case of northern lights, all we had to do was put our room # on a list!

Would recommend… just make sure you are fit!

Great view from room, clean and friendly team. Nice to get free parking and lovely relaxing ambiance in the bar - we did book due to the picture of the outside area and fire and sofas to relax, sadly it was all closed up and couldn’t use - that and the hill from town was the only thing that let a great stay down
