Good Hotel - Comfortable Room and Good Breakfast

Positives - Hotel was clean and well presented as if recently refurbished. Room was all ok , comfortable bed with a small fridge and a kettle for tea/coffe making which was a nice suprise. Bathroom was fine with shower and plentiful hot water , towels etc. Breakfast was good standard continental breakfast , cereals , eggs , bread and cheese and cold meats, juices , tea/coffee. Negatives - Hotel is a fair distance from the city centre but there are plenty of public transport links nearby

Nice hotel

Hotel was better than I thought. Got a single room with 120 cm bed. Room was on 2nd floor so a bit weird angle of room. Bathroom was newly renovated and good. Room was very clean, friendly staff, an ok breakfast. I parked on the street 20 m from hotel. I arrived at 22:00 and left 09:00 so was just an overnight stay to reach my destination. Only really negative part was the bed; it didn't have a top mattress so you just sleep right on the matress and could feel the springs. It was rock hard! And it was EXTREMLY squeeky. At 02 I gave up because every time I took moved a little bit the bed squeeky and kept me awake, so I dragged the huge and heavy matress off the bed frame and on to floor. It didn't fit between bed and wall so had to lay a little bit like a sausage in a bun but could get some few Zzz in.

The Hotel staff didn't speak German or English proper and it took me an hour to get a Steam iron after doing charades only to be given a broken iron which leaked and no ironing board, the electricity sockets were hanging OUT of the walls, the door handle was falling off, the fridge didn't work or wasn't even plugged in, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, carpet coming away from the skirting boards.

Basic accommodation adequate for a short stay. Being on the 2nd floor with no lift would have been difficult for people with mobility problems. The bed was too hard for me. It would have been nice to have drink making facilities in the room but the breakfast was really good.

Für die 4 Nächte, die ich dort war, hat es allemal gereicht. Es eben ein etwas älteres Hotel vom Zustand her.. der Boden knartscht und man hört deutlich wenn jemand den Flur entlang läuft. Das Personal war freundlich und hat mir jegliche Fragen beantwortet, die ich hatte und das Frühstück war auch gut. An sich kann ich mich nicht beklagen!

Super Unterkunft nur zu warm

Alles super, nur leider viel zu warm in den Zimmern. Mit der Heizung kann man die Temperatur so gut wie gar nicht regeln.
