Comfortable stay

Enjoyed my stay in this Hotel and will recommend it to my friends. Though not in the central part of city, its convenient to take a tram to the city. Its good if you like a quiet place to rest.

Loved that they could accomodate a family of six. We qere given three adjoining rooms and a shared bathroom. A decent German-style breakfast was included. Two negatives: the floor could yse a thorough vacuum and our rooms were right off the reception and it was really noisy.

Poor Hotel, worse by Expedia admin

We booked 2 rooms through Expedia which we paid in advance back in January, on arrival we were told that we needed to pay again though one room. Could not contact Expedia. Telephoned to Hotel who promised to resolve the next day, but 3 days later not sorted out and no sign of refund. The shower could not be accessed by some of our party due to height above floor.

Bad timing on my part.

OK, I picked an unfortunate time during a fair when rooms were hard to find and overpriced. I was attending a conference at the University. The hotel location was inconvenient to say the least, with a Euro 25 taxi ride from the train station. Using public transport, it was a 10 minute walk then a 25 minute bus ride to the conference venue. There are few restaurants nearby, none memorable. The rooms was mediocre with tiny, dorm-style beds. The window dressings were faded and stained. And the price was comparable to a five-star hotel in a major city. The only bright spot was the breakfast with reasonable price and excellent service.

Good value for the money

We had a quick stop in Bremen on our trip in Europe. This is a basic hotel which fulfilled our needs. It is a little worn but clean and good value for the money. Very friendly staff!

Fortunately one night

It was so hot at that day, that we couldn't sleep the whole night. Asked for a fan in the reception but it was not available. If you open the window, it would be direct to the street with alot of noise from the cars. A high building faces the window that you get no privacy if you open the window and the curtains. A lot of mosquitos in the room and even the bathroom, very old hotel. Only the breakfast was good .

Good little stop over

I chose this hotel because of it's location - 20mins to my friends wedding venue & 20mins to the airport. When I booked via telephone, I requested an early check-in and a late check-out (15 euros extra). I was charged twice but got it sorted within a week. Upon arrival, we were told we could not check in early. After a deep breath, I explained my request prior to booking, which the receptionist saw on the screen and then showed us to our room. The room we stayed in was very dated in terms of style but it had everything we needed - lots of space, comfy firm bed, mirror, hairdryer, towels, shower gel/shampoo (all in one), hangers and adequate lighting in the en suite. I don't think the carpet was hoovered properly as I found a few blonde hairs around the dressing table (my hair is black and no it wasn't the mistress). The following morning, we were awoken at 11:30am by loud knocking on the door. Once again our request for late checkout was not noticed and an hour later someone else knocked on the door for housekeeping. Communication errors aside, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to those looking for a bed and bathroom. Also, leave multiple messages, preferably post-its on your door if you want your late checkout acknowledged & a peaceful sleep.

Good clean hotel for the price.

The hotel is approx 10 minutes walk to the tram which is a further 20 minutes into the town of Bremen. Once in town there is lots to explore with many bars and restaurants at very reasonable prices. The Christmas markets are extremely good with many Mulled wine stalls to keep you warm whilst you are looking around. The hotel is a way out of town but very quiet and there are a few bars nearby. All in all we couldn't cpmplain for the price we paid at this time of year and would definately stay there again.

Family Friendly Hotel

We thought this Hotel provided excellent value for money. 2 Adults and 2 Children (8 & 3) spent 4 very pleasant days in Bremen and this Budget Hotel was exactly what we wanted. The staff were excellent, the breakfast very good, the family room large and clean, we could not have asked for more for what we paid. The Tram station to the city centre is approx 10 minute walk from the hotel (safe area), and the Tram, which arrives every 6 minutes takes approx 15 minutes to get you to the city centre. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was approx 25 Euro. Finally the Turkish Kebab resturant/takeway just around the corner, only 2 mins away was excellent, food & service. Happy days all round.

Friendly, Local Hotel - Value for Money

The hotel was in an outlying area of Bremen, but was close to where we wanted to be for an event we were attending. It was easy to get into the centre by tram, and possibly by train, but they were on strike when we were there. The hotel is quite dated, but the people who run it are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast buffet was really good. It was very cheap, probably because of where it is, so it was excellent value for money. There is a fridge in the room for guests to use, TV and the room was spacious.
