This beautiful one bedroom barn conversion, nestled within a working farm, is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic escape. Located in a secluded, tranquil area, where country style meets mid-century aesthetic, The forge is the a stunning home-away-from-home.
Upon entering The Forge, you are welcomed by the cosy and homely open-plan living area, which is bathed in natural light. The sitting area is adorned with a sumptuous sofa and a cosy chair, providing the perfect place to curl up together with your favourite film or box set in front of the wood burning stove, or to enjoy a slow morning reading one of the many books that the owner has provided within the property. Leading from the sitting area, up two internal steps, is the double height, country-style kitchen. The well-equipped kitchen offers ample space to create romantic meals or try your hand at creating a delicious new dish. The dining area sits proudly within the kitchen and offers a lovely place to sit and enjoy the special meals you have created with care, or to plan how you want to spend your time exploring Shropshire. From the sitting area, wind your way up the stunning oak, open-tread stair case to the mezzanine, where the bedroom resides. The bedroom offers plenty of home comforts and thoughtful touches, such as the cloud-like king-size bed and a feature roll-top bath. The bed is dressed with cotton bedding and a beautiful velvet bed spread and throws, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Sit back in the roll-top bath and immerse yourself in the calming nature of the bedroom; step out into the fluffy towels and soft bath robes, and cosy up in the king-size bed. Tucked to the side, you will find the en-suite shower room, with underfloor heating to keep you warm during the colder months.
