What a wonderful place! We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and other amenities that house offered. We saw deer each morning while drinking coffee on the back deck. Perfect location for our adventures in the amazing Beavers Bend State Park. And to dining and shopping. Was so pleased with our vacation!!!!

It was a much needed little get away for the family. Especially in a cabin setting like this one. We enjoyed every bit of it from the cabin amenities such as the spacious bedding and showers to the fully equipped kitchen as well as the hot tub, grill and campfires we were able to do. We also were able to explore Beaver Bend state park with hiking the trails and natural habitats. It really was a memorable experience and plan on returning for the summer. Thank you Hochatown!!!!

Grandkids getaway.

My husband and I took three of our grandchildren on a little getaway for the week. The house was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay. The beds were comfy. The house was very clean. The fire pit was nice as well, the nights were a little cool so we enjoyed smores with our grandchildren. There is just so much about the place that we absolutely loved. I know anyone who stays there will love it as well.

Peaceful and relaxing

We had a wonderful trip. The home is exactly as described and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. It felt as if we were very secluded but we were still close to the park, local restaurants and other activities. Watching for the deer and fawns was so much fun. Highly recommend this home.

The property needed the following items to make it exceptional. Outside lights on the deck BBQ tools Garbage disposal Also, mosquitoes were in the house. Property management was notified and the pest guy came out a day later. That was a waste of time, he didn’t do anything except talk a lot.

Awesome cabin

We had a wonderful weekend in this cabin. The cabin has many amenities and it's very well furnished. It's a wonderful place and we truly enjoyed spending time there. The area is also beautiful and has many amenities for the tourist, without being overwhelming or too touristic. The house and the area is a destination that we would not hesitate to repeat. We had a wonderful time at Our Happy Place cabin and Deidre was great to work with. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We didn't use the hot tub, but it looked really nice. The gas grill was in great shape, and we had fun around the fire pit. Thank you for sharing your home!!

An Escape from the hustle & bustle

This place is BEAUTIFUL! I just wanted a few days away to decompress and this place is just what I needed...Our Happy Place was perfect!! It's secluded but close to town where you find food, fun & shopping. It's exceptionally clean and Deidre & Jason were great hosts and quick to respond with the few questions I asked.
