Der Aufenthalt in Brunate war wunderbar. Abseits von Tourismus und doch Nahe bei Como.Parkplätze sind kein Problem. Gegenüber ist die Post, und das Parken Abends ist kostenlos. Untertags zahlt man Stundenweise oder pro Tag. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es ein paar Minuten entfernt.Um die Ecke ist ein Lebensmittelladen und ein Metzger ist gegenüber. Bei der Seilbahn kann man Essen gehen.Eine Fahrt mit der Funicolare ist sehr zu empfehlen,

Large apartment in the beautiful and quiet town of Brunate, super close to Como. Much preferred staying here rather than the crowded and busy Como. Access to Como super easy via the cable car (funicular) or long stairs down. The only negative is the slightly challenging and stressful drive up to Brunate. The roads are super narrow and steep and it was difficult with a large car and bike trailer on the back. Otherwise I would be giving 5 stars instead of 4. Free parking was a 10 minute walk away. The host was responsive and helpful. Overall we would love to stay here again.
