The Starting Gate is a purpose built studio flat (sleeps 2+1) situated in a beautiful, tranquil, rural location approximately one mile from the historic town of Bruton in Somerset. It is ideally situated for single travellers or couples wanting to explore the beautiful countryside and visit the many local attractions. A dedicated broadband connection and quiet surroundings also make The Starting Gate an ideal base for those on a business trip in the area.
As we run a private, well equipped competition stable yard it is also possible to bring your horse with you subject to appropriate arrangements. There is access to plenty of off road and quiet lane hacking and there are excellent competition venues close by.
Guest access -
The Starting Gate is a first floor studio flat with a private entrance and is equipped with a bath as well as a separate shower. A bonus is a separate dressing room/lounge with a second smart TV and a comfortable single sofa bed. Outside, the Starting Gate benefits from a private patio area and guests are also welcome to make use of a shared, enclosed garden area.
We live on site and are available should any problems arise.
Local supermarkets offer a home delivery service to the property.
