Great location, friendly staff, lovely interior decor. This hotel is a deal gem, walking distance from the old town with lots of great bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and the small and well stocked hotel bar and wine cellar was an unexpected bonus. I would definitely look at staying here again on a trip to Bucharest.

Overall, a lovely stay at this hotel. We stayed for two nights in a “cosy” room, although we didn’t quite realise this meant having just two tiny windows, so the room felt a little dark, especially with the dim lighting. Our room was also above an area where workers seemed to gather, which made it a bit noisy at times with them calling out to each other. The room itself was clean and fairly spacious. However, there was no kettle, and we were told to use the coffee machine instead. This wasn’t ideal for a non coffee drinker, as it was quite confusing to use, and when we did manage to figure it out, it leaked everywhere and still left a strong coffee taste. That said, the location was excellent, just a short walk from the old town, and overall we enjoyed our stay. I would happily stay again, though next time I would probably choose a different room type.

The hotel is a small hotel, but was perfect for my needs. I didn't try the breakfast but the bar seemed nice and had an excellent stock. The highlight was the staff, particularly the colleague who was on reception when I arrived at 3 am, having had a flight delay. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, but he was exactly the right amount of happy. The one thing I would say is that the immediate area round the hotel (a couple of minutes walk) is not particularly touristy, so if you prefer to be closer to the action this may not be your hotel.
