Fantastic Hotel!

Gorgeous hotel with friendly staff. It was our first trip to Budapest and we had a fantastic time! Amazing city and this hotel was right in the middle of all historic sites that we wanted to see. We loved our stay; the breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone (even picky eaters)! The pool / spa area was a little weird but we enjoyed the facilities anyways. We walked everywhere and saw everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we visit this fabulous city!

The Aurea Ana Palace Hotel by Eurostar was fabulous. The rooms, dining hall, lounge, spa and location were all first-rate. We wanted a place with a historic vibe, but had all the modern conveniences. The Aurea Ana did not disappoint. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Budapest and would happily stay there again.

On the first day our room was cleaned nicely. The second day my pj’s were just thrown on the chair. I ask for water bottles and the cleaner couldn’t speak English but didn’t send anyone else. So the water never arrived. The steam room smelt mouldy and wasn’t working. No staff there to tell. It’s a nice hotel in terms or decor and location

This hotel felt like it was on the verge of shutting down. It was understaffed and even the ones who we occasionally saw were not very nice. Checking in was difficult, getting an iron to the room took them 30 minutes which barely worked and nobody ever cleaned after customers. Our bathroom had sewage smell it wasn’t ideal…The spa and the gym was only open between 1pm and 9pm so we couldn’t use them in the morning when wanted to actually workout and enjoy the sauna. The spa smelled terrible anyways and there was trash everywhere with not a staff member in sight. It’s way too expensive for this experience, go get a different hotel.

The property is conveniently located and has been recently renovated. It is very interesting and historical building. The staff are very good. The gym could be improved with free weights and the hot tub should have jets that can be controlled.
