This is a lovely hotel. It’s quite quirky and fun with their decor. The breakfast was pretty good and had some variety in what they offered. Bed was comfy and room was very clean. The only downside was that you had to slam your door hard to get it to lock which meant not only was your door slamming but other doors near were also slamming sometimes when you’re trying to sleep. Depending on where your room is, Noise from patrons sitting outside the bar can also be something that disrupts sleep. All in all, I would stay here again. Price and location were both excellent.

We recently stayed at D8 Hotel and found the experience to be average overall. The hotel is well located, with easy access to many key attractions in Budapest, which is a definite plus. However, we were quite disappointed by the breakfast service. I requested gluten-free bread due to an intolerance, but none was provided. On a separate occasion, I was directed to rye bread as an alternative, which unfortunately does contain gluten. This is a serious oversight and unacceptable for guests with dietary restrictions or intolerances. Additionally, the rooms were very small and offered only minimal amenities, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. The central location is the hotel’s strongest point, but there is room for improvement in guest care and attention to dietary needs.

This hotel has the best location to wonder around Budapest!! So close to everything! Great dining, shops, the monuments and castle, the subway, which we never used caused we walked everywhere. We got the breakfast option and loved their croissants with hazel nut!! And their staff is super helpful!! Will for sure stay here again!

Exceptional location for public transit as well as walking to attractions. Chain bridge is less than 300 m away. Breakfast buffet was outstanding as were the hours served for the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
