The resort's home to a communal garden area, so there's plenty of space to doze while the kids play or tuck into a picnic on a sunny day. There's a volleyball net for those family tournaments, a games room (perfect for the odd rainy day!) and an adventure playground. Speaking of adventure, what is it about kids and campfires? If your day's not complete without marshmallows and a chat around a flickering fire, the younger members of the clan will love the communal campfire area for those lazy evenings.

You'll find East Thorne just five miles from the sandy resort of Bude.
