Bait and switch
I booked the place pictured 6+ months in advance and the night before arrival was informed that I would be placed in another location two blocks away. The place I booked was supposed to have a balcony overlooking charming architecture where I could people watch on a busy street. The place I stayed had a view of other neighbors' laundry drying. Booked an English-speaking host; in the end I had to communicate through a translation app. Booked a place steps from the subway, wound up 3+ blocks away. Specifically booked a place with self check-in/out option since I would be departing at 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival, I had to meet the host in person. Upon check out, I found myself locked in the secure lobby because I was instructed to leave the key in the apartment. The only way out was to prop the door open, leaving the alarm ringing, while I ran back upstairs to drop the key off. In the end the place was fine I guess, but it was in somewhat of a state of disrepair and there were bugs in every room. Definitely didn't get what I booked. Rating this place low because I didn't even get to stay there and I wasn't given proper notice to book another location, or any other options.
