Best location in Buenos Aires, half a block to many bus routes, one block away to the Subte (metro), safe area, convenient stores nearby, laundry 2 blocks away and friendly staff. Fully recommended.

Good budget hotel near obelisco

Run down hotel but rooms comfy and renovated (not the bathrooms, though). Best nights -2- sleep in a long time....super friendly staff and though area is not great it didn't feel unsafe. Good value for money...all in all, recommended for a budget hotel.

Lounge area looks nice enough but there's not much else impressive about this hotel. Found it to be a bit cold, room only had one outlet. No view from the window to allow natural light into the room. TV was poor quality. Killed a few bugs but not many. Wallpaper peeling from the corners in the room. Water emerged from the drain in the bathroom when you empty the bathtub. The WiFi went down a few times too including one tie for 12 hours (They had to restart the router). Bed was nice enough as was the the fridge but that was it. If you need somewhere basic & relatively cheap to stay in Buenos Aires for a few days this place will be fine but for a longer stay on a vacation I recommend selecting somewhere else.

The reception area does not reflect the rest of the hotel. The place is worn out and badly in need of maintenance and/or refresh. Very noisy. The bath was peeling, there were wooden patches on the walls of our room. But the staff were wonderful and the location very good for us.

I love this little hotel !!! I wanted something inexpensive and was surprised on how nice it is and how friendly and multilingual is the staff! Plus is walking distance from many monuments, etc. and short taxi ride (120 Pesos or $3) from Ricoleta, etc. I definitely recommend, can't beat that price! Would definitely come back !!!

The staff did their best. For the price and location, this place was great. It is not the Ritz nor J W. Marriott, way cheaper and I just needed a place to sleep. Front desk guys were hilarious. They don't speak much English, but funny bunch. Area of town is actually really safe, but staff locks the front door so you need to have them buzz you in. They serve breakfast onsite, $200, but better options across July 9.

Mold in bathrooms and showers

This hotel is awful. The room they initially gave me and the two others they showed me had black MOLD in the bathroom. I booked the hotel for 4 days but ended up staying 3 nights instead and went to another hotel as i could not take a shower in a bathroom and shower with mold. Mold is very unhealthy. They changed me to a "suite" that also had mold in the bathroom. This was a huge inconvenience for me (waste of time, not being able to shower, etc.). I saw three bathrooms with mold: the one they initially gave me, a second one they showed me and i declined to move to and 'the suite'. I am pretty sure every bathroom has mold as they don't clean them as they should.

Pay a bit extra for a nicer hotel.

So it's a great location and it's cheap and it's clean. The staff are nice and helpful. There is wifi available in the rooms. However, there was no natural daylight to my room or half the rooms on the floor. The floor and my room were horribly stuffy. The doors were thin and you could hear everything happening in the corridor. The room was barely big enough to swing a cat. The TV played one station. Look for something nicer. It shouldn't be hard and shouldn't cost much more.
