We booked and stayed in your " accessible" room. While the accessible carpark was good, that is where the accessibility ended. I was unable to get myself through the door to the lift lobby due to a step. After getting assistance from someone with this, i got to the room and realized the shower also had a large lip, which made it unusable for me. The balcony which i paid a lot of money for, was also not at all accessible. Lastly, the mirrors in the bathroom were too high, so i could not see myself. I felt this is EXTREMELY poor value for money and anyone booking accessible rooms, should be warned that it's not very accessible at all. I will not stay here again, and i will not recommend it to any of my friends. PS The final nail in the coffin was the broken coffee machine.

I really loved our stay at Peppers Bluewater in Lake Tekapo. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. One important thing to note, especially for anyone with mobility issues like me: our villa was split level, which wasn’t mentioned when booking. I’m not sure if this was an omission by Peppers or the third-party platform I used, but it was challenging. Once I was upstairs, I couldn’t realistically manage going back down, so my family had to carry all the bags and essentials up for me. Aside from this accessibility issue, the stay itself was lovely. I’d happily return, but would make sure to clearly request a single-level or mobility-friendly option next time.

Tiny rooms, dated decor, bathroom was old and rusty, with mildew in corners. Heated floors did not work. No amenities. Resort is not the right word for it. Restaurant was very expensive and had horrible reviews.

There was a lot of walking to the restaurant and Parking wasn’t particularly near my room. Luckily, I had a downstairs room otherwise there wasn’t any assistance with luggage if you were upstairs. The restaurant was quite small and when one of the tours was a breakfast there was not much seating and the food run out quickly although they were working hard to keep it topped up. The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable. It is a beautiful location.
