This is definitely a four star property but definitely not a five star. The selling point is access to the river and a dock where you can land and launch jet skis, kayaks, and tie up your boat. A section of the dock broke on our first day. So we had to wade to the section with the jet skis. The owners were good about repairing the dock and compensating us, but the dock could use a little maintenance.There's path down to the dock and road. You're not allowed to use the road, so get ready to haul gas cans up and down the hill. There's a gazebo at the dock, and it's very nice, but also covered in bird poop and grime. There's water run down to the dock, but we weren't allowed to use it. Instead we were told to carry down a bucket and sponge.The bedding and towels are great. So are the beds, but the bedrooms don't have blackout shades, just privacy shades. So when the sun is up, so are you.The kitchen appliances are new, but definitely not fancy. There's the nice plates and plenty of silverware, but no nonstick cookware. If you want to cook some eggs, be ready to scrub some pans.The neighbors are a downside. They have dogs that are not well treated and bark a lot. Everything is good, but not great. So, it's a four star place with great access to the river. Would we stay here again? Probably, but we'd know to bring some things with us that are missing from place. The owners are responsive, but they do keep you away from some amenities that would make the stay better.
