About this property
Spacious, historic country home on 8 scenic acres. Just 30 minutes to Asheville!
Enjoy the warmth and charm of this beautifully restored 3,000 sq. ft. Craftsman-style farmhouse. The historic home, originally built in 1896, is situated on eight acres among the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains.
With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, large country kitchen, old-fashioned "sitting/dressing room," living room, TV room, dining room, breakfast room, laundry room, kids' play room, and charming covered/enclosed front and back porches, the BNC Inn is spacious yet intimate.
The BNC Inn is right off of Highway 19 and easy to access - just 10 minutes to Burnsville, 20 minutes to Weaverville, and 30 minutes to Asheville.
Reminiscent of an earlier, simpler time, the BNC Inn welcomes and invites you to relax and take in the ordinary pleasures of country life.
Awaken to the music of birdsong, watch the horses roam on the hillside, pick a book from the shelf and relax on the front porch swing, spy the rabbit slipping through flower garden and the deer on the edge of the fruit orchard.
Later on, gather around the kitchen island while supper simmers on the stove (or you await Door Dash!), or meet outside on the roomy deck with BBQ grill and covered tented areas for outdoor dining.
When evening comes, come together in the spacious living room with a board game - or relax around the firepit as fireflies flit by and stars twinkle overhead.
Your home away from home in Burnsville, this elegant yet warm and inviting home is an oasis of calm and the ideal retreat for relaxation and restoration; It is also perfect as a home base from which to explore and find your next adventure!
You might start with a short drive into Burnsville, where small-town charm meets outdoor adventure. Home to Mount Mitchell—the tallest peak east of the Mississippi River—Burnsville offers fresh mountain air, an ideal climate, endless outdoor activities, and iconic American charm.
Stop by the local farmer's market, stroll along Burnsville's delightful Main Street, visit local artists in their studios, drop in the coffee shop for a pastry or cappuccino, indulge a little at the local ice cream parlor and tea shop, share a pizza at the local brewery, explore the rolling countryside, and take in the wonder of starry, dark skies.
Whether you’re seeking adventures or peaceful escapes, Burnsville's is the perfect destination to make lasting memories in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Or perhaps your instinct for adventure will take you south and west, where Highway 19 joins joins Highway 26 for an easy and scenic drive into Asheville.
Nestled in North Carolina’s southern Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville and its neighboring foothills towns exude quirky charm and character. The region’s landscapes have starred in TV and film, and the area is a favorite among culinary travelers and outdoor enthusiasts alike for its adventure, waterfalls and craft beer.
Asheville's lively city center has gorgeous architecture, fantastic stores, a huge variety of 100 restaurants, interesting museums, fun street performers and many free festivals. The diverse mix of culture, music and art has led to Asheville's city center being dubbed by many as the "Paris of the South."
You may be drawn to the area's outdoor delights such as Waterfalls, hiking trails, fishing streams or rafting adventures. Or perhaps you're more inclined to search out quirky, off-the-beaten path shops and eateries.
Whether you're thrilling to the awe-inspiring elegance of the Biltmore mansion, stunning waterfalls, or rare books and beautiful art, the Blue Note Country Inn is your starting point and resting place at the end of the day.
We hope you'll enjoy the clean mountain air, the Southern hospitality, and your stay at the Blue Note Country Inn.
