Compare Cheap Hotels in Burra

We only stayed one night but loved the property and newly renovated room with balcony overlooking the pool. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent with happy hour before with wine and beer only $8. Def will be back one day. Clare is a lovely village with great cafes for coffee

Nice room

Mould in kettle and in the fridge in the “Lounge”. Fridge turned off with milk with a expiry date of November 2025 (3) The ladies shared toilet and floor were disgustingly filthy. Bed sheets were clean but had come wrinkled like they had been sitting in the bottom of a washing basket for a week. Absolutely no amenities in room. Air conditioner above your head which did not work and was so noisy. Have never written a bad review and have stayed in many budget accommodation, but never anything like this!! $100 could be spent better. Only positive was that the snitzel down in the restaurant was excellent.

This property was exceptionally clean including all crockery and cutlery. It had the charm of a heritage building combined with the basic elements to make our stay a pleasant one. One bathroom with toilet within may be a consideration for some. The grounds are lovely with a great bbq entertaining area that would be excellent in the warmer months.
