Tallest Building in the Complex for Some Great Views

This is in the highest building in The Ridge, just south of the pool area. From the balconies to the left you see the marina and Medano Beach in the distance. Directly south you look toward the Grand Solmar and the mountain which ends at Los Arcos. To the right you can see the Pacific. As you are on the opposite end of the building which overlooks the pool area, there isn't as much "people noise" nearby, though at night you will here activity from the marina area bars, but it is not overbearing. Because you are high over the other buildings you will often have a pleasant breeze. It takes no more than a minute to get down to the pool areas and secure your lounges by the endless pools which overlook the marina or the Playa Grande complex and the Pacific that will always give you some whale watching opportunities. I have owned several units at Solmar, Playa Grande and Grand Solmar over the years and believe this is my favorite. The access to either Grand Solmar or Playa is easy, but even easier to access the restaurants and marina in just a short walk out the secure gate. I have owned a fixed week in the first week of February since 1996 and keep coming back. This year though plans to new destinations have interfered so someone else will get this great experience. We have had five people comfortably stay in a Master Suite on The Ridge on several occasions and never felt as if we were on top of one another. The kitchen always gets well used for entertaining with friends and family, but the room service is also quite good and there are countless restaurants within walking distance.

This unit is one of the true jewels of The Ridge.
