Book Best Western Caen accommodation

Booked this place as a backup, just in case I couldn't make it to the ferry in time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help bridge the language barrier. (I don't know much French, they didn't know much English). Once everything was understood, my friend and I took the keys are were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. Coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a king size bed. There are a number of eateries and even a cinema just around the corner from the hotel and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. For a last minute stay, there was nothing more I could have asked for.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are small compared to US hotels but very clean and neat.

We were thankful for the various rooms booked for our family trip -- and for the buffet style breakfast in the morning.

Great place for a short stay, rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Very close to train station.

Liked a lot for location and cleanliness

Room was smaller than expected, very tight to unload two suitcases, but I guess it is Europe. Beautiful view of court yard outside. Walkable to the old city, churches, and many restaurants
