The hotel is really dark in the lobby, as if it's trying to be romantic getaway but it has none of the ambience for this. The lifts are slow. Water isn't always available and you need to pay for it when it is. Rooms are basic, I had no light in my shower.

The staff was extremely unfriendly. During checking in, “ID” “swipe here”, “WiFi here” were the only words said to us. And housekeeping was very loud and rude as they banged on our door when we had two hours till checkout and kept coming back every 20 minutes until we got ready and left early. As we left the room they continued to bother us and not apologize. There was also no hand soap so I went out and bought my own as well as no conditioner, it was a small two in one shampoo conditioner bottle. The shower floor was also cracked and the mini fridge didn’t work. I wouldn’t come back unless in a bind and everywhere else was booked.

I would definitely go back . It was quiet and clean and safe. A few extra amenities would go a long way. Elevators were limited and a coffee option either in room or lobby would have been excellent.

This is my third time staying at this property. It is not a five star hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, but it is always extremely clean and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only downside, in my opinion, is that there is no coffee or tea available in room or on the property. You must go outside and walk a block or two for coffee. This is not ideal when the morning temperatures are frigid. The hotel faces the World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial. It is a beautiful view both during the day and at night one lit up. It is located in a safe area with a lot of shopping and dining choices close by.

We were definitely let down by the property as the pictures did not show its true nature. Theres no signage outside to let you know where to go as you have to take the elevator to the 5th floor. Also, the room was average and not worth the price. The walls are bare, the white walls are dusty and not deep cleaned, and there’s extreme mold in and around the shower. The rooms are outdated and needs extreme attention.
