The original rooms we booked were not clean or ready for us when we arrived after 3pm. We were then given two rooms on separate floors which was difficult navigating with multiple children under 5 years old. The hotel then offered us room that were on the same floor. However, when we arrived back at the hotel to put our two year old down for a nap the new rooms were not ready and the old rooms we had were not available either. Really poor communication and lacked professionalism on the side of the hotel and staff.

Very small room. Fine for a 2 day but too small for any further stay. Creaky building, poorly built. Only 1 elevator that worked out of 3. No room service. No bar. No pool. No workout area. Few offerings. Won’t return.

This stay was one of the worst in the city that I've stayed in and honestly more expensive than I normally pay for. The staff themselves seemed more annoyed we were checking in than helpful. No one advised us of needing to scan your card to get the elevator to work (we were focused on the buttons but the card reader & instructive sign were on the other side) and another guest had to help - seems like a simple thing to advise your guests at check in. This morning I planned to ask the front desk something but the phone completely wouldn't work to call anyone. I decided to go down and talk with them only to get STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR!! It would go down but the doors wouldn't open. I went up and down about 5 times when it finally opened on the 30th floor. I hurriedly got out afraid it would never open again. I waited for a different one to take me back down when another guest told me about the elevators on the other side. Problem was - those took me down to floor 1. There was no way of getting to 5 to get to the front desk other than going around in a circle. Finally I get to a desk and I explain to them what happened and they just laugh and say it's being worked on so I must have gotten stuck in the cross fire. Excuse me, this was not funny. I was terrified. My question was about bag service and was told it would be someone on the 1st floor. For the entire weekend we were in and out of the building, but never was there anyone on the first floor. Well, except drunken club goers.

To improve: very dark lighting in the bathroom, bathroom generally needed a deep clean and freshen up, toilet seat was peeling and gave off an odour, bathroom door didn’t shut at all, no conditioner provided, elevators broke whilst we were there and the staff did not apologise at all, hairdryer and iron were missing from our room on arrival.

Front staff was courteous and fast! Foyer is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. 2 out of 3 elevators were broken. The cleaning lady was pushy and rude to my daughters. Telling them “time to leave and get out” at 11:01 when I was loading the car.

The staff was extraordinary. We loved every minute. The hotel was so very clean. The view was incredible. I only wish they had early morning coffee inside the hotel. Coffee shops are all around the area though. Definitely will be back! Thank yiu for an amazing stay and experience.

First time staying here, overall good price for December & good location. Great bed, hot water & good heater. Mind you we aren’t high end people nor did we stay in our room a lot. So for what it is, it’s worth it. Elevator broke while there so we used the maintenance one to get to lobby. No place to get any bottle water in hotel or breakfast.

Negatives: Unfriendly front desk, mold and mildew in bathroom everywhere, limited towels and toiletries, dirty carpets, primary elevators were down for 2 of 6 days, paper thin room walls where either the neighbor’s alarm woke you up, their shower or the tv. Positives: Good view, good location, comfy bed, good size room. Final impression: Wasn’t the most expensive accommodation in town, but this hotel did not meet the value for the price point we paid.
