Overall an okay hotel if you are looking for a lower cost place to stay. The pool is nice. However it overall feels a bit run down as ice machines and such are out of order, no air conditioning and the showers aren’t the best.

Unacceptable hardware

Part of the carpet close to the window was unreasonably soaking. The tap and the shower was leaking. Sounds keep coming out. And the worst thing was the power outrage in my room because of fuse burning. I was waiting like almost 15 more minutes without anyone coming. P.S. The hotel refused to change me another room. I would like to go to the gym but that the gym was like a swimming pool (see picture).

I was expecting something like how they market the place online but it wasn’t, the pictures online were only for marketing purposes and not the ones in the property. Our overall stay was good, our room was clean (we are not the messy type of guests so i know they didnt have a hard time during our stay), the staff were accommodating/easy to approach. They don’t offer breakfast but it wasn’t a challenge since the place is surrounded with a lot of good restaurants, even near to shopping centers and gas stations. Few improvement on the cleaning part, at the side door going to the parking lot coz everytime we used yhay door going to the parking, it was stinky.

AC is not working in the whole building, so they put portable AC in every room. But the ac vent on the window is very weak and flimsy. The vent does not stay on the wall, and that caused a big hole on the window. Having a difficult time falling asleep. Staff blamed the client for not noticing the damage after entering the room. The vent area was covered with a curtain, so it wasn't visible at all. Such a unique experience in Calgary.
