The property was right where we needed as my son was playing at prolific sports house across the way. Unfortunately, due to the location it was very expensive to order food to the hotel. The rooms were large and the pool was OK. The waterslide was nice for small children as it didn’t go into the pool. The hot tub was broken in the sense of the Jets didn’t work and the water was dirty, yellow and cloudy.
We were located on the first floor and it was extremely noisy. The first night we fell asleep quite early due to a busy game, but we’re quickly woken up at 6:30 AM by people in the hallway and the loud clashing plates getting ready for breakfast, not only that our blinds didn’t close all the way, allowing the room to stay bright in the sunshine right on us, which didn’t help with trying to fall back asleep. The next evening seemed even noisier than the day before. It’s almost like loud old, noisy pipes running through the building. I could hear every cough sniff and sneeze from the room next-door and it felt like I could hear every time somebody turned the shower on in the entire hotel. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is somewhere we would stay again simply due to the fact that while travelling for sports are athletes require good quality sleep, and enough hours to keep up on the court the next day.
