Great one nite stay. Appreciated lots free parking, on site restaurant/bar and in room amenities. Will return again.

Staff at check in were nice but it felt clumsy…couldn’t find all my reserved rooms. I kept referring to my rooms by their name online to determine who should be in which of my 3 rooms and they kept using other names for the rooms. Manager upon check out Sunday was awesome as she always is! Room refreshes are great but in each of my last two visits not all details were complete. On my last visit before this last one, new shade was hung improperly and didn’t go all the way down. This last visit, there was no door strip between tile in entryway and outside carpet which meant our two dogs could hear and sniff more than ideal from the hallway. Overall I love this property and in the last few years under current management has been far better than previous years. I do wish I could remember her name as I feel like the hotel is much better since she’s been on board! My parents live about a mile away and this hotel is most convenient and a good value and I am glad it is there.

Beware. Avoid this hotel. We paid in full, through Expedia, a couple of weeks prior to our check in. Processing of that payment was confirmed through PayPal, & Expedia confirmed payment to Home2Suites by Hilton in Champaign IL. However, Home2Suites processed a second payment the day of our check in, through the debit card on our Hilton rewards account. I have spent several hours in communication with the hotel to resolve this, to no avail. They are aware payment in full was made prior to our arrival. They have seen proof of that. No return communication has been attempted from the hotel’s manager. Expedia is now taking over responsibility of communicating with the hotel. However, Expedia noted that they had difficulty with the front desk of the hotel answering the phone. Yes; this happened multiple times for me, too; I had to press option of “reservation”, simply to speak to someone. That was a consistent issue during the stay as well. In addition, breakfast was lacking, & that is the most polite way to say that. Staff person at breakfast said they would refill items that were gone at the time we started breakfast, but that was never done. Upon researching regulatory agencies to notify of this hotel’s fraudulent charges, I became aware that there is a historical pattern of fraudulent charges made by Hone2Suites in Champaign IL. We will never return to this hotel. I wouldn’t roll the dice if I were you.
