30 kilometres to the southeast of Campogrande you will find Taormina, where you can enjoy the Greek Theatre and Lido Mazzaro. Or, you could stay in Giardini Naxos, 30 kilometres to the southeast of Campogrande, where you can pick from the San Domenico Palace Hotel and NH Collection Taormina. The Recanati Beach and Archaeological Museum are amongst the more popular places to explore when visiting Giardini Naxos.

Before you say "adios" to Messina, ensure you experience some local sport. Visit Angelo Massimino Stadium to the south of Campogrande. The Romano Palace Luxury Hotel and the Liberty Hotel are both good options if you want to get amongst it.
